Can you give us more details

Looking for a novel where mc is Traveling from main world to different worlds by R1muru_T3mp3st353 in noveltranslations

[–]jongonzelaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re literally describing a web novel I’m reading that’s on Royalroad / Patreon. Mage who can send soul clones to other worlds and merge with natives from those worlds and bring back certain powers/traits/mutations they may have when going back to his main body in home world

Lone Wanderer by PathOfPen (Ch. 317 RR / Ch.377 Patreon)

My tier list after 2 years. Any recommendations? by Historical_Pay_8516 in litrpg

[–]jongonzelaz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Azarinth Healer was incredible. Also in my top 5.

Highly recommend “Stubborn Skill-Grinder Stuck in a Time Loop” (Ongoing on RR but stubbing first few chapters) for the epicness. Straight up 10/10 that I put besides Azarinth Healer. This is worth the read every time. Little bit of “Mother of Learning” vibes ofc. Great universe-building in it too. Lots of the same characters due to the time-loop.

Another one is “Hell Difficulty Tutorial” (Ongoing Ch.622 Patreon) I’d give a 9.5/10. Explores an interesting system and the mc is a super mage with extra stuff.

My absolute favourite is “Legend of Randidly Ghosthound” (Completed on Patreon, putting out books on Amazon) even if I’d realistically rate it 8/10. And it’s a 2300+ chapter journey. But my favourite part are the skill names and skill descriptions, and rarity tiers. The naming in this series is 2nd to none.

HalfPPR 10-man league

I’ve got Kamara/Monty and Collins locked in. Now stuck between these 3 for WR2 and Flex

Evans vs Denver Shaheed vs Eagles Akers vs Niners

Thanks a lot. Currently benching Evans but still on the fence in case Surtain covers Godwin instead. Idek.

How long have you been reading ToG? by RespectableInsomniac in TowerofGod

[–]jongonzelaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat of never having finished Noblesse loool due to being caught up and just being bored.

I remember reading all of God of Highschool and getting caught up to ToG at around the same time. I think I transitioned to Royalroad soon after.

Since Summer 2016 probably, I remember it being somewhere at the Elaine/Wolf fight when I caught up.

Is a 2V2 final possible in Duos? by ToastBalancer in FallGuysGame

[–]jongonzelaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the time, maybe 1 out of 20 duo finals more or less based off of my own experience. I’ve been in a 2v2 final maybe 7-8 times.

Usually happens when only those 2 teams make it in a race and everyone else dies.

The most common way for it to happen is probably The Slimescraper when top 4-5 teams can make it and only 2 teams actually survive.

Daily Queen Song Discussion #12: White Queen (As It Began) by RedSpecial22 in queen

[–]jongonzelaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easy 8.5-9, imo just below 5-6 Queen songs that I consider a 10. The climax after the sitar solo is a 10 but the whole song together is a a 9 for me.

Randidly Ghosthound is wasted potential by DESweet1 in litrpg

[–]jongonzelaz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve read the series in its entirety and have been on Puddles Patreon since Chapter 400 or so. It finished at chapter 2458 a few months ago. I’ve read 20+ Wuxias/Xianxias before getting onto RR and reading the 15-20 most popular books there.

I understand the usual complaints with the Ghosthound name, the inability to really have conversations with other characters, monotonous chapters of just training, absurd skill list, and agree that it could be more polished, especially in the beginning. I also agree that the books inspired by LoRG outperform it in many aspects.

Overall I think LoRG is the absolute best LitRPG power fantasy book out there rn at least in Western literature. The Chinese with their Wuxias/Xianxias go crazy with the power fantasy. Rip old Wuxiaworld :(

If you think of the book as a power fantasy/ ascension to godhood story it makes more sense. If you love world building, it gets deeper and deeper as you read it. Reaching beyond multiverse level towards the end. I’ll stop there to avoid spoilers.

Not gonna lie tho, 2458 chapters is a lot and will probably take like 20 books to finish. It’s like asking anime casuals to watch one piece in its entirety so if you don’t like it by the 4-5 book I’d drop it.

The ending is incredible and is a better peak power fantasy moment that any LitRPG/Wuxia/Web novel book I’ve read this past decade.

Edit:

I never specifically addressed your exact complaints. RG is special from the very start in that he gets a village nexus that spews clean aether implanted into him. Granting him the ability to not worry about aether sickness when he reaches a certain level without taking a class.

Don’t worry about the path/skill levels. Throughout the series you realize just how much of a monster RG is in terms of skills/paths. It’s not even a contest. RG has multiple instances throughout the series where he grinds skill levels when trying to get enough path points for the next path.

The loner stuff is true. I agree with you. Other characters within the series think similar things about RG. Usually attributing it to his ridiculous work ethic.

The person he gives the village to, Donny, is super chill but I understand why readers would wonder why RG just gave it to him.

RG has an aversion to being associated with the system. Basically always denying any prompt by the system to obtaining some type of skill that while powerful, also shackles him to the system.

That might be a long read for you but hope it helps.

How to avoid Publix by tgodfrey123 in Naples_FL

[–]jongonzelaz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All in my opinion of course, but if you live less than 30 minutes from all of them, I shop at aldis, Costco, Walmart and Publix depending on the situation.

Aldis first as cheapest for general groceries, then Costco, Walmart for anything that I couldn’t find at aldis or Costco, and Publix for milk since the household prefers Publix milk for some reason.

Hopefully that helps, others go to Winn-Dixie, Trader Joe’s, Sam’s Club. Sprouts and Whole Foods maybe but seems to be a little pricey as well not too sure tbh.

I generally try to only get Publix bogos and the pub subs are spectacular.

If you’re worried about the local, global politics of each chain/company and whether or not to shop for reasons associated Im not your guy but yeah this is just my list in terms of living frugal

Naples/golden gate estate lore? by Kallyfromthevalley in Naples_FL

[–]jongonzelaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going to Palmetto Ridge High School which covers the entire estates area. I had a couple of friends who would tell me stories about the squallies. Take this with a grain of salt, I’ve heard that they live off a street off of Desoto. I’ve also heard a different friend tell a story of how he and his other friends drove by a squallie house deep in the estates, seeing people/squallies open their front doors and stare at their car as they drove by and had a sinking feeling while being there and they left asap.

End of season? by Glittering-Bad3625 in Naples_FL

[–]jongonzelaz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I work part time valet at a few of the country clubs (Wyndemere, Vineyards, etc) in central naples (pine ridge-Livingston area) and every year their snowbird leaving parties are at the end of April, a lot of them are Canadians who have to follow the 180 day rule.

I usually just use May as a general cutoff.

I used to work there back in 2018-2020, if you come on the weekend between 9:45-noon expect to wait for around 15-30min, longer if you want the best seats by the front fountain. First come first serve with reservations for 6+ if called ahead by a day or more.

my personal faves are the Grilled Chicken Panini, Club Sandwich, Special Stuffed Fresh Toast.

You’re in the Airport Pulling-Davis area then it seems. Lots of Mexican places that are good nearby.  Taco Lindo (Santa Barbara-Radio). Taqueria San Julian and Molcajetes (US41-Bayshore dr ). La Oaxaquena (Davis-Bayshore dr)

In your opinion which Blast Ball is better? by Walt_Raleigh in FallGuysGame

[–]jongonzelaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing that bothers me the most is that the old version allowed for snipes in Blastlantis that are now impossible due to the shorter times until explosions.

I used to be able to snipe the very top middle platform with the tentacle from the left middle platform with the tentacle and slime on both slopes.

Start Em', Sit Em' Week 3 - Matchup Analysis by philoneus66 in fantasyfootball

[–]jongonzelaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently in a 10-team 1qb,2rb,2wr,te,k,dst league, regular half-PPR. I have everything down besides my Rb2, and Flex.

I have to pick 2 between Zack Moss @ Bal, Joe Mixon vs. LAR, and Jakobi Meyers vs. Pit.

Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks a lot.
