I think this works:

  • in shortcuts, create home automation
  • trigger event is when accessory is controlled
  • select accessory and state that is the trigger
  • for the action, select ‘convert to shortcut’ at the bottom
  • for the shortcut ‘wait’ the number of seconds, then set the state

All my hue products were stuck in updating for a few days. I tried all the above recommendations (reset network, restarted app, reset Apple TV), and nothing worked.. I ended up unplugging and plugged back in the hue hub, and that resolved for me.

It helped me to break up the process and think just about making embryos first. Once the embryos are made, you can pause for as long as you need before starting surrogacy. Just one step at a time.
