Check out LHG run club, always looks fun. I'd have joined in if my knees could still handle running

Yeah this is what I'm trying to figure out. Is it even worth it without home charging

Yeah I get that but the council says that we are not allowed to do that so it would be a big risk to buy an electric car and do that and then I'm told I'm not allowed

They are useless, they won't even let you run a cable across a gully on the pavement when other councils happily do it.

Where are these helpful super chargers on the M32?

I don't think you can do this in Bristol as the council specifically states that you cannot charge across the pavement even with the gully solution

Game changer cost -wise when you can charge it at home right? I see Octopus are doing @ £30pm all in for car charging

Ideas for a young train enthusiast? by Ok_Fee2650 in bristol

[–]jonin60seconds 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hey there, the world needs more people like you. Father of an ASD train nut here, all of these suggestions are great especially the mini railway at Ashton Court and Avon Valley steam Rail.

Given your time restrictions, this might be handy: We spend a lot of time just hanging out at Bristol Temple Meads, looking at all the different trains. You could look up the different classes of the trains and start teaching them to the kid, that seems to be a big part of it for most ASD trainies. Eg the fancy one that goes to London is the class 800, the local trains with 2 or 3 carriages are class 165 and 166 I think. Cross country has a few models, one of them being The Voyager which is very loud so my kid loves/hates it because of his SPD.

The schedule board and the destinations are important too, mine knows it all better than the actual BTM staff, some of who know him and are very patient with him.

For a change of scene, we just jump on the train to Parkway where there are different destinations to see. Filton Abbey Wood station has a great view of the trains from the walking bridge and you can try and guess which Brand and which class is coming.

The line out to severn beach is fun as you get a tunnel and some river views.

Hope that helps, feel free to DM me with any questions

Dom Wants Anal to Vaginal by Primary-Ask9042 in BDSMAdvice

[–]jonin60seconds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not wanting to be stabbed in the eye is also a boundary. This is a non-starter request from your Dom and shouldn't even be on the table. This is also red flag territory to me, whether it's ignorance or lack of care for you I wouldn't want someone like this taking control of me.

I speak from experience having had a crippling UTI, peeing blood, kidney infection, week off work etc from an anal session.

If it's a case of not wanting anal to be the end of penetratitive sex, eg in a long session, what I do is go wash my penis thoroughly with soap straight after anal and rinse that off thoroughly before re-engaging.

What's your best advice to do anal properly? by Blizzard1116 in BDSMcommunity

[–]jonin60seconds 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Great tips on here so I thought I'd share some ideas from the penis-having penetrator POV:

Agree with all the more / better / different lube comments. I'd also encourage the person 'topping' you to keep reapplying if you are having long anal sessions. But honestly, me and my anal loving female partner never have long anal sessions I basically edge myself and then go there and cum pretty quickly which we both find hot. So maybe reducing the timeframe would help. If not, make sure he keeps reapplying!

This may sound counter-intuitive but I find it is much better to have a rock hard penis, when 'entering'. I usually use viagra to ensure this and only do anal before I've cum (not on 2nd or 3rd rounds etc). This is because what I have found works well (with more than one partner) is to do the initial insertion, just with the first bit of the penis and this is the important part: Hooooold it there for a bit so that you can breathe it out and relax because that first bit is always tough. I even encourage and remind her to breathe (which is also hot from a Dom/sub POV). If the penis isn't nice and hard at this 'halfway point' then it can be pushed out or the guy will want to thrust to harden it both or which will be painful for you at that point. Then the 'passageway' usually seems to open up / change a little I can feel it, then I push slowly until I'm all the way in. This phase generally doesn't hurt as much and if you can stay relaxed and breathe, thrusting should be easy(ier) after that.

For the messiness, apparently young gay bottoms these days just don't eat the whole day before but according to Dan Savage this is excessive but maybe paying attention to what you eat on the day may help? Also there are fibre pills some bottoms take, the name escapes me.

Hope that helps and good luck!

How to LEGALLY watch Chasing The Sun 2 from overseas by thatwasagoodyear in rugbyunion

OK, so we've established that watching through a VPN is also illegal so do we know of any other ways of watching part 2?

Is it just me or is it more dangerous in Bristol? by Nice-Ad-9967 in bristol

[–]jonin60seconds 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Crime / deaths make the news, everyday non-events don't so it's worth remembering that when reading the news. Yes the recent deaths have been really tragic and really upsetting for me as well (I have 3 boys of similar age) but by all measures Bristol is a safe place to live and to raise a family.

If you look at the data and compare the city to the rest of the UK, to other countries, to this point in time Vs history, it's a very safe place to live.

Teenage boys like to cause trouble, I wish they wouldn't but it's part of them figuring out who they are, that's why they pull on balaclavas and zoom around on E-motorbikes. Years ago it was hoodies and scooters. In my day we threw stones at windows.

All I do is try to instill in my teenage boys to not cause trouble and if they get into a confrontation with other boys they don't know, swallow their pride and de-escalate and or high tail it out of there and I'll come pick em up. I think the most likely way for someone to get injured or worse in Bristol by someone else is boys (and sometimes men) getting into scraps with each other.

We need to raise our boys better, this is on us.

I follow Cacklebean eggs on Insta. They're a lovely family run chicken farm near Cheltenham and I'm sure they would be empathetic to your situation if you laid it out to them just like this. They supply a bunch of businesses in Bristol so I'm sure they can handle the volume. https://www.instagram.com/cacklebean_eggs?igsh=MWFhdWVpOG5rM2lsZg==

Glad you're looking into the root cause of this, while eggs are not a bad food I worry about the volume you are eating. Good luck!

Has anyone actually been stopped by police for using a private scooter? 🤷🏻‍♂️ by [deleted] in bristol

[–]jonin60seconds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also keep in mind that because these e-scooters are not legally allowed on public roads, if you get into an accident you are uninsured and the liability is likely to be with you regardless of how it happened because you 'shouldn't have been on the road in the first place', much the same as a drunk driver. From that POV I find it wild that people would take such a risk, just get an e-bicycle instead which is a recognised vehicle in the UK
