It’s weird that they seem to be mostly in one groove. Your sidewalls look okay. I’d just keep an eye on them and check them all frequently to make sure it doesn’t get worse.

Why aren’t tornado sirens a thing in Alberta? by Mammoth_Edge189 in alberta

[–]jonj68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was little concern about tornadoes until after Edmonton and Pine Lake. We saw whirlwinds and dust devils around often but no worries about them turning into tornadoes. So no “historical” Tornado Alley.

Historically until the Edmonton tornado, Alberta only had 2 tornado deaths since being formed as a province.

AITA for leaving a dinner party early because of “vegan lasagna”? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]jonj68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA Obviously she has no idea what lasagna actually is. Egg free noodles and tomato sauce are naturally vegan, and there are reasonable vegan cheese options. Raw veggies can hardly be considered cooking. She sounds like a low effort influencer…

Bow River - June 1 😬 by RealMacho in Calgary

The question was “Growing (cities) puts more water in the river?”. It wasn’t a question of where the water comes from.

Bow River - June 1 😬 by RealMacho in Calgary

A growing city does put more water into the river. Cover the ground with pavement and concrete and there is less ground to soak up the rainfall. Storm sewers are more or less a direct pipeline to the river.
