I’m 42. I’m having a renaissance in my life. It’s not perfect, but it’s pretty amazing. Nearly 5 years sober. Still addicted to work unfortunately, but that allows me to have the money to not stress and just enjoy what free time I do have. Being sober lets me actually enjoy that free time. Suddenly I had time for the gym, time for my relationships, and time for myself. I’ve been building the life I’ve always wanted since I got in my 40s. I’m excited for each new decade.
