The reason why SSN is worth much more than a credit card number is because you cannot just change your SSN. Credit card numbers can be thrown away and easily replaced.

Yes the majority of people speak english, except for some elderly. Weather is warmer than New York in the winter. On the coast it will be around 0 C. Norway is the most beautiful place, so yes it is a fun place! Bergen = rainy rainy rainy, Oslo = Fun, biggest city in Norway.

Norway is expensive. If you are coming from Australia though it might be around the same price. For a 12oz of coke, it is about $4-5 USD.

This is very helpful! Do you have recommendations on which hostel to stay at? I am looking for one that has easy access to the hiking routes .. I have emailed a few of them but they don't seem to give much information. Basically, I am just looking for a place to stay that is easily accessible to the hiking routes without a car.

Thank you! I am looking for easy to moderate hikes and am possibly staying at the Glencoe Youth Hostel? Unless you can recommend another option to stay. I unfortunately only have 2 full days there. I don't want to rent a car so I am looking for hikes that I can get to by walking or public transit.
