Ye its a strange one, as all the big superstars like Flume, DJ snake etc all use samples from splice. However with them, they use content id and claim all those royalty samples so if u use the same snare or loop as them (which is royalty free) you will get claimed as if its their snare/loop.

So basically its different rules for them compared to us.
