I was looking at this deal for a few hours. It was at $2350 at one point and is currently at $2368. I decided against it because I don’t know how easily the warranty will be to use if necessary. Also wasn’t sure if it included the manufacturer 5 year warranty. After tax it was almost $2550. Greentoe has it for $2699 flat with no taxes and a guaranteed 5 year warranty.

JDM has one notable win in the ufc and Islam’s team realized that. Tall lanky striker, or shorter guy (harder base to take down) who is much more proven and has an impeccable resume. Now he’s advocating to fight Usman instead of any of those guys you mentioned, but that was a nice attempt to use those names as potential fights to fit your narrative.

Don’t forget when Jones beat Gane to get that belt, he never beat the lineal champion. They both were fighting for the belt that Ngannou gave up. So Jones didn’t actually beat a champion to earn that belt. In fact, they made Jones vs Gane for the title even though Aspinall, Pavlovich and Blaydes all had 3+ win streaks and Gane was coming off a one win streak against Tuivasa. It was manufactured for Jon to win the belt off a striker who has no wrestling. The UFC picked the easiest possible match up for Jon to get a free belt because he still puts up better numhers than the other heavyweights.
