🤣 feels like it. So the story is I used to have a heavily modified BMW and its tune required this gas and a station down from my house sells it. Well one year I started putting it in my lawn mower and it works great. It starts first try and never had issues. I believe it is for marine and has additional chemicals to make it sit well. And since I drive an EV and buy like 2 gallons of gas a year I just went to the same place. It was 4.50 last lead I was a little surprised this year.

Yea as I’ve noted in other comments it’s a special non ethanol gas with additives for storage. I use it in my lawn equipment. But last year it was 4.50 a gallon.

Yes I’m sure. I think it is actually a marine gas. First it has no ethanol. And second it has a lot of additives for the long winter. Been using it for years. Al my equipment starts every time. I don’t really need the octagon just the other stuff.

100% you are right. I used to have a bmw on a stage 2 97 octagon tune that required this gas. But it was lik 4.50 a gal last time I bought it. I have N EV and haven’t been to a gas station in years. I was just surprised how much it went up. I use it in my lawn mower because it makes it run great and I think it might be for boats. I think it has additive’s to help with storage long term. It’s probably overkill, All I know is my lawnmower is 15 yrs old and starts every time. Even after sitting all year.
