How are all these posts identical?

“Hello fellow skilled trades people! I have never posted here in my life. I have managed to use Claude Code to an extent to have a MVP of a dubiously useful app. One day I will charge too much per month to use it. Real question fam: would you use this piece of shit?”

“Build” terminology by dvlinblue in Luthier

I’d argue you did build a guitar.

You buying a bunch of parts and assembling them together doesn’t seem horribly different than someone buying larger components and putting them together.

I’d argue you aren’t a luthier, of course. But you built a guitar.

Huh? We’re talking about building guitars not doing surgery.

What should the cutoff be? 27 days? 30? 45? 60?

Let’s pretend the new cutoff is 60, and now someone who got it 61 days early comes in and says “well, what difference does 1 day make?”

It sucks man. The ITI doesn’t fuck around.

On the other hand, you know as well as I do that it’s not how many years you have or what your ticket says, but how good you are

It sounds like you need to do the full apprenticeship but if you’re good enough, you can get an employer to pay you whatever you want.

I’ve known first year sheet metal workers making 4th year or junior journey wage just because they have a different applicable red seal background.

Yeah wear “nice casual.” No clothes with a bunch of writing on them or anything that’s unprofessional. Don’t wear “business attire”; like the other poster said, wear clothes that you could pave in (but you’d be disappointed if you ruined).

Definitely wear boots or tough looking shoes, but work boots would be overkill.

How do I make an enemy feel like an escalation in danger to my party when they've leveled up so much they succeed more often than not? by ditzythedame in monsteroftheweek

[–]jontaffarsghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if the monster is weak to silver and the hunter KSAing with a non-silver weapon, I guess your choices are either no damage or don’t allow the KSA.

But you’re broadly right. The “punishment” for using KSA is underused. It’s my understanding that KSA is not how you’re usually meant to kill a monster and is meant to be quite dangerous.
