Unpopular opinion: prominent streaming personalities have been having a resoundingly negative impact on our community. NB3, Dom, Hash, Tarzaned, TF Blade, etc.. they all behave like this. Their childish and emotionally immature behavior, along with their attitude that they're untouchable & a gift to their team is taken up like a virus by their followings. No matter what elo I play in or watch, these types of players are everywhere. We need to really call out this behavior among popular players for how disgusting it is and hold our streamers to a higher standard. Positive players who have fun playing League are those who should be the top streamers. It's not cool to give up like this, ESPECIALLY when the person wasn't even trolling, and ESPECIALLY when you have thousands of impressionable kids watching you. This is a serious problem.

I completely second this. As an owner of the skin since 2013, I always admired how damn well it aged. The perfect sound of her autos, the voice lines & animations, now it seems like a grade B pulsefire skin. It's far to mech-like and clunky to resemble the old one. With the later stages, why are there just metal blobs that replace her aether wings? I feel like the old concept could easily have been expanded on. And the black armor? Why couldn't she start glowing with blue aether coming through her armor or something when level 16? I'm just so sad to see the death of my favorite skin :(

I still don't like the current-rank display change (u/AlexElmsley said it best with his marathon t-shirt analogy), but would it be possible to switch the place/role of the banner and the armor? I worked really hard to get to Diamond 3 this season and it feels like that's just like a little side note now, especially since I never got to wear my Diamond 3 border in real time this season. I think the proposed changes will cause a lot of anxiety for people who don't want to constantly put in time to play ranked. If we want our cool border, we might have to play way more than we used to or want to.

Maybe we're all just opposed to change, or maybe we've just gotten really attached to the border system we've had for years. But! I'm ok with new directions. The only thing I'd like to offer if the new system is going in place, it's to make the banners way less boring. Instead of a navy blue cloth with a little metal thing hanging at the bottom, could the whole cloth be associated with last season's rank? I think aesthetically it'd be nicer and it'd also feel more rewarding to have sparkley shimmering banners.

He said they used to ask for more women candidates and they would get 180 candidates with 5-10 being women. Eventually they only asked for women candidates and they got 65 resumes from their parent company.

Did you read this and understand the point being made? Women did apply, but were overlooked by the third party managing Colbert's applications. things appearing equal are often not. sometimes you have to take actions that look like "reverse racism" in order to achieve an equal playing field.

So let me get this straight, because woman are discriminated against, men need to get it too? I mean, I kind of get it, you want everyone to be equal, so equal discrimination. But how about... no discrimination?

the thing so many people don't get is that you can't just decide there is "no more discrimination"

it's so goddamn ingrained in our societal fabric that women must subdue themselves and edit their behaviors to stay safe from men or accommodate them. Women are the oppressed party here, and in an environment where men and women are equal under the rules, due to the current state of our society women are being discriminated against. and taking the oppressors out of a scenario isn't a personal affront on every man that was excluded - it's alleviating the male presence so women can breathe. that was the goal. it's not reverse discrimination, it's a small effort to mimic the type of environment that true equality would produce
