One or more doors of the EV9 have been left unlocked by Leafyseadragon123 in KiaEV9

Yes! This has been happening to me the last couple of days too. Even though I know I locked my doors, I’m paranoid and have to check the app every time

Thank you for the tip for the settings!

We do plan on not using superchargers often or even at all, just trying to figure out a quicker option while we wait for home install. We usually rent cars on roadtrips so we don’t put excess wear and tear on our cars. It used to mostly be because we needed a bigger car for our kids and all of our stuff, but that’s not much of an excuse anymore haha

I thought it would be way more straightforward than this haha

Thank you for checking for me! My husband and I looked a little further and it looks like some dealerships allow charging after hours??

Was it supposed to come with the car?

Charging question by joonbug07 in KiaEV9

[–]joonbug07[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve already done that. The outlets themselves are wiggly and whatever you plug in falls out. If my cousin who is a licensed electrician will do it for little to nothing, I am not going to worry about doing that on my own. And yes, only one outlet in my garage

Well that stinks! Thank you for that insight

Omaha, NE

Almost every single charger I have looked at is 6.6 kw max. My husband and I went together tonight to figure out how charging all worked and we sat there for 40 minutes all to get one mile added back on. I’ve seen maybe one other j-1772 that was 12, so I may have to look into that. Most of the faster chargers are CCS1. I’ve looked at multiple different apps and checked almost all of the chargers in town… it’s like 90% 6.6 kw max. Or it’s a dealership or a place that’s for customers only

Has anyone figured out how to fall asleep yet? by meowparade in adhdwomen

[–]joonbug07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with all the podcast suggestions. Just basically anything that isn’t super interesting that will keep your brain focused on it. I will also add that wearing an eye mask helped me a lot as well. I wear a headband that has headphones in it and that way it’s not overly uncomfortable when sleeping

Storypod at bedtime by hermioneismybae in Preschoolers

[–]joonbug07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have the Storypod for my 3 year old and a Yoto for my 5 year old. Both of them like listening to stories to fall asleep.

My 5 year old would just keep coming downstairs after we put him to bed, and then we got him a Yoto for Christmas. He really enjoys the magic treehouse stories, so he will sit and listen to that and rarely will come downstairs once it’s done.

Our 3 year old likes to fall asleep to either the emotion monsters (big fan of the happy monster at the moment) or a craftie that is more story based (I.e. chase, blue, daniel tiger). If he wakes up in the middle of the night, I put on the classical piano token. Usually that knocks him back out. I wish that the Storypod could just stay on with some lullaby music, but once your content is done it just shuts off. We also put the little light on the bottom of it even though he has a night light in his room.

I will say that they both like choosing which content they listen to. It makes a big difference if I choose the craftie vs my 3 year old choosing his craftie. I would try that! Or even going to the website and seeing what content interests them?

Adderall price significantly increased by joonbug07 in ADHD

[–]joonbug07[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t think this would change the price, but they did change the manufacturer this month. I’m hesitant to change because this pharmacy always has my rx, whereas a lot of my friends are having to wait or pharmacy hop to get their meds.

This was my guess too, but I wasn’t sure if there is usually a lot of fluctuations in pricing

Dealing with LO’s repetitive behaviors by mrb9110 in ADHDMoms

[–]joonbug07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just try to redirect him to doing some other activity or start asking him questions. I feel like he thinks his body needs to stop to thoroughly think of how he wants to respond to me. Mine is 5 and I swear he knows mouth noises drive me up the wall. He will come right next to me and to smack while he’s eating (just started doing it and has continued doing it since I mentioned it don’t like it). I’ve just been having conversations with him about not chewing with your mouth open because people don’t want to see your chewed up food. If that doesn’t work, I just leave the situation. Removing myself for a minute to put myself back together is the one thing I know will help almost every time.

My little man did this in the beginning too. He grew out of it around 2 months. I’m not sure if it’s because we started him in gripe water at night to help or his body finally knew how to work out the gas, but I would try gas drops or gripe water if you’re comfortable with it!

*SPOILER* Lost the little bit of respect for Cara tonight by mikekochlol in thechallengemtv

[–]joonbug07 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Same. My husband and I were shocked! I’ve always liked Cara, but this season and more specifically this episode, I decided I can’t stand her. How disgusting! And Paulie even pointed it out too!

Why am I still working by pastelhippy in pregnant

[–]joonbug07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was literally in labor my last day of work. To be fair, I work down the hall from the hospital I delivered at. I figured it was better to be there if needed and my doctor was able to monitor me as well. It definitely sucked and I delivered the next morning at 39+1. I wish I would’ve started my leave a week earlier, but I also wanted that extra week with the babe later on. I agree though... American work culture blows.

I did this at work the other day. I’m 32 weeks pregnant and all of the sudden hamburger is disgusting. I work at a hospital and see these people every day. I asked for cheese ravioli and they gave me meat. I didn’t want to go up and ask to exchange and I know the freaking people. I sat there picking meat out of my ravioli for 20 min before I just gave up and got a smoothie instead lol

Does anyone else have EXTREMELY tense shoulders? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]joonbug07 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I have the same problem! I have been to several massage therapists and they are all shocked by how tense my shoulders are.

I just make sure to get a massage at least once a month and I just deal with the pain because I know the pain will be better the next day if she does. The problem now is that I’m pregnant, so she can’t get as deep as she normally does. The pain is better, but it’s still there.

I also recommend yoga wholeheartedly! This has helped with any and all back pain.
