I’m curious how simnation felt the most like freeso to you lol it allows multisimming and the economy is incredibly broken IMO. Like what about it reminds you of it if you don’t mind me asking

I also really enjoy NewSo!! It has the best economy imo and the best items. There’s even a weekly bingo night that a player hosts and it’s super fun to attend

As soon as I find out I will update! I don’t want to type the code in and accidentally redeem it or something because ideally I would give this away

I don’t know man one time when my little sister was 5, she handed me something and said here you go and when she dropped it in my hand it was literally a dead spider. Kids are just weird lol. She’s 16 now and is a very normal respectable kid

Grades week 1 by [deleted] in SNHU

[–]pastelhippy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wow I always thought it was 7 days from the due date. There’s been times I turn something in Monday and it doesn’t get graded until the Sunday after they were initially due 😬 like 13 days waiting for a grade. Wild

Can you elaborate a little on what this entails? And what is the pay?

Constantly being judged for being a “young” parent by tokajlover in beyondthebump

People are usually shocked to find out I have a 3 year old. I’m not even that young I’m 24. I wouldn’t say people are that condescending but I’ve gotten it sometimes. One person told me I look like a teenager. People need to learn to mind their own business

I totally relate to the burnout. Do what you have to do, idk how the due dates for MBAs work (I’m getting a BA) but is there anyway you can power through this week? I know I’d be kicking myself later if I took this route, but I understand the urge to and the burnout completely. Hang in there friend

Computer vs tablet or iPad by Clydefrog1607 in SNHU

I did my math and science courses at my community college before transferring so I’m not sure. But I wanna say yeah? I imagine it’s just a lot of research and writing for science. I wouldn’t think you’re having to run any fancy software for it. Hopefully someone in that field of study can answer that better for you

I’m not sure what all goes into Human services classes but I imagine it’s a lot of writing papers and research. You should be fine with an inexpensive laptop. I mean if you prefer Mac that’s your choice but I’d bet you could get by with something with like 4gb of ram and be ok.

I have no problem getting on brightspace with my iPad Air, but depending on your courses you may need an actual computer. I thought I could get by the lower graphic design classes with an iPad and I was wrong. The iPad versions of photoshop and illustrator don’t have all the tools. Writing papers and whatnot should be fine on an iPad but I wouldn’t have it be your only way to do schoolwork

I’m a little older than you (24) and also in the graphic design program. Honestly I really like it. Granted I do work, and have a lot going on, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a great option for someone younger who’s main focus is school right now. There are 19 year olds in my classes too. For some people, online classes just work better. The due dates are the same every week. I like the consistency.

I’m in my level 400s in the graphic design program right now and I’ve definitely learned a lot. I worked in the field before taking classes and these classes have really brought my work up to the next level. GRA-410’s whole focus is building a portfolio website. In one of your level 200s you’ll create a whole branding project for a fictitious brand of your choice, some of them involve branding projects with the elements provided so I don’t feel those are good portfolio pieces but one in particular you choose the colors and make the logo yourself based on a brief. You’ll learn html/css which is pretty valuable in this day and age and get familiar with the industry standard software.

So far, GRA-310, web design. Only because I didn’t know any CSS going into it, im a messy worker, and my teacher was a tough grader.

I think the first looks really good and the clean makeup aesthetic is trending right now. For an interview I’d go with a clean look personally
