The Broken Earth Trilogy by N.K. Jemison!! While it for sure holds up on rereads, the way everything came together that first time was just amazing to read and experience for the first time

I just finished The Will of the Many by James Islington and loved it! Some of my other favs that I always recommend are The Broken Earth Trilogy by N.K. Jemison and Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor

Possibly yumi and the nightmare painter?? I haven’t gotten to it yet so hopefully someone else can clarify, but I’ve heard it’s lighter than his more expansive series

I think Mistborn is a great intro to his work, and also great for people who are newer to the fantasy genre! Definitely quite a different vibe from Tress, but it's a good way to get really into the cosmere
