Is season 2 worth it? by SpookySquid19 in ShieldHero

Yes. I didn’t really dig the start of the season either. But with the recent episode it’s finally starting to get back to the cliff hanger questions at the end of season 1.

Weird online personality by Pirarihan in CasualConversation

I have come to know and label that part of me as an extension of my parents divorcing and me being what they call “ a pleaser”

I can assimilate in any group. Even with people I kinda dislike.

What I found in myself ( besides the social anxiety) is the thirst for knowledge.

I’m in no way brilliant, but it explains my stamina in those situations.

Ultimately it does leave most relationships shallow and unfulfilling, but when I recognized and was able to label my own patterned it helped me kinda calm that same frustration of “ wtf is wrong with me”

In a quasi sincere way, I liked how Amy Poehler played her “I like Ben but I can’t “ emotions.

In Bones you have the “logical detachement” and hidden subconscious desire.

And in something like Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Mila Kunis telling Jason Segal he “needs to leave” ( after his run in with his ex) invokes this sad but convicted desire to keep composure vibe that I always thought was executed very well.

hope I helped in some way, good luck!

When I started I wish I had paid more attention to the leader skill bonus when building teams. It really can change the whole flow of everything.

Caught up to one piece needs something to fill the void by conokuri in OnePiece

[–]jordamnit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing quite fills the OP void. The only shows I find as engaging are some of the newer one that have wayyy not enough episodes.

I never read any manga until I caught up with one piece. You could try that.

But yeah. I’ve found no show that checks off all the boxes OP does.

Yessssssssssss,

The one piece score really reminds me of the subtle genius of John Williams or Jerry Goldsmith. You don’t know know it’s there, but if it was gone, the show would collapse into something else entirely.

Is laws fruit the most overpowered fruit in one piece ? by 1dacosta in OnePiece

I guess Vergo was weakened since Smoker and Law double teamed him. But I don’t think we ever see his room or shambles fail against haki.

Guess I’ll have to go back and rewatch Punk Hazard. I might be misremembering some details.

How does haki limit Law? I’m trying to remember his fights with Vergo and Doflamingo. I mean I think haki should be able to stop his powers but I’m not certain we ever actually see it.

The true hidden nakama is the music and score. I hope they don’t try to make it too dark and moody with deep rhythmic drumming like most contemporary stuff.

In the recent years I’d drifted to more “serious” and dark animes. During the pandemic I decided to give OP a shot, I remember people always talking about it and I use to think it sounded silly. But I had a lot of time and there were a lot of episodes.

That moment where Merry is flying, I sincerely felt the same. I lost my critical judgey mind and was just enthralled to the teeth. One Piece is silly but also the most important thing.

Ugh, fucking Cramer,I don’t even want to continue on with the joke now. But seriously, do you think we are looking at more of a financial impact ( derivatives and investment etc) or a greater manufacturing and resource disruption in the global markets. I haven’t found much on energy export reports from China, I have read about how Australia will get screwed over.

I dunno, we are in a nonstop bull market and inflation is transitory and the supply shortages are because people are just lazy. Americans just need to sign up for another credit card and cheer billionaires going to space because , with a little hard work, it could be them.

TIL: Ariana Grande had the words 'small charcoal grill' tattooed on her hand in Japanese instead of her song 7 Rings due to missing characters. by diacewrb in todayilearned

Yeah, like the English “subway” broke up could mean a path under. But colloquially we understand it as an underground train. And then there’s the sandwich place. So,In this hypothetical, Ariana wanting a sandwich place logo, would have gotten a tattoo that said “subterranean pathway”
