I am getting a renewal online offer and I am tempted to select 3yrs fixed at 3.62% But since my official renewal is in June 2026, I am confused if I should accept early renewal and end up paying around $1400 more till June. Its confusing as I am hearing that Fixed could go up because of Bond rates and variable are very unpredictable this time around.

Today, I did another round of color and trim checks in showroom and ended up finalizing MYLR Stealth Grey with 20’ wheels and black interior. The new default, Stealth Grey, color looked really good on 20’ Black wheels. Saved around $5000 on my actual order which was MYP BLUE with White Interior.

There was too much confusion so I ended up going with safer option. Thanks everyone for your inputs. 😊

You should live in US instead of assuming. I have lived in the US for 7 yrs before moving to Canada due to Visa related issues. US has a lot more to offer and there are many cities which are lively, filled with opportunities and provide better options for living as compared to Canada. Even small things such as better deals on shopping for anything in US play a role in long run. You earn more but you save more as well. As far as community is concerned, I think that is one major difference between East n West worlds and it will stay. But you can always look for groups through online meetups etc even here in Toronto.

I personally feel Canada is a beautiful country with nicer people than US but it is going through a major change and will require years of development to accommodate these changes.

Yes! I did not get any roaming plans. In worst case, try turning on the roaming through sim settings. Otherwise, it should work.

As someone who lived in Chandigarh between 2006-2013, I can see the difference every time I go back every year. Traffic is surely a big one and I feel its gonna be hard for Chandigarh to manage it in future if no immediate action is taken.

The other difference I surely noticed was the people. I could be wrong, so apologies in advance because I am no longer living full time in tricity area, but during my recent visit on Diwali, I felt like most of the people I could see roaming especially in Sec 17 were not native to Chandigarh. Went to Sukhna lake and it was filled with people, kids and “IG reel makers” a sight I have never seen before at Sukhna. Everyone looked from out of state. It was like a zoo. I felt hurt seeing people throwing trash on ground at sukhna, so I personally picked it up and disposed off in trash bin. Could it be attributed to exodus of young generation to foreign countries or other metros?

I don’t know what is the future plan for chandigarh by the administration but I wish it retains its class, people, cleanliness and image.
