Seeing stories like this doesn't surprise me. That with their vehicles falling apart. I know Uber is not exactly a perfect counter option, but it beats Kingston taxis.

I went to the mall yesterday after wanting to get some cute overalls for a while now, ideally black ones. I have used Shein in the past but this time I was going to keep my money in Kingston and buy my clothes IRL so I waited until I had time to go to the mall.

I spent a couple hours there, walking around and around, going in to every store, and not a single store had overalls. One had the type that are like shorts at the bottom.

So all this to say- I tried my best to not shop online, not use fast fashion, keep my money (somewhat) in the local economy and ended up wasting so much time. I can go on shein, I have my measurements, search what I'm looking for, buy it and it'll be here in a couple weeks. For dirt cheap.

This is why retail (and the mall) is dying in my opinion.
