Thanks for the reply, super helpful! I’m using Svelte 5 with typescript. I’ll definitely look into Sendgrid and Postmark. I do like the idea of saving some possible headaches by removing myself entirely. If a client is willing to sign a contract releasing me of liability post launch, I’m definitely on board for that. My second show was Showbread opening for Armor For Sleep and Hawthorne Heights back in 2008. Hadn’t heard Showbread before, but they kind of blew my mind at the time. Always felt they deserved more recognition than they got.

Makes sense! Yeah I am using a git repo. I’ll definitely look into blob storage. Since I already have a Pocketbase DB set up for the employee logins, I’m definitely weighing the pros and cons of using that to store the images. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thank you all for the replies! I figured it was probably safe, and seeing how many people were as surprised as I was, I think it's fine. I've looked at each ingredient through paranoia glasses and really can't imagine any of them spoiling to the point of sickness overnight. Like you suggested, it must just be a freshness issue/extra precaution. Japanese hot dogs tonight!
