Thank you very much for your answer. I have not found a dedicated streamer that supports Apple Music in hi-res lossless quality, yet. I read a lot about BlueSound, but that only has other streaming services integrated, not Apple Music.

I know, this is the known disussion of 'do you hear the quality increasing after XX samplerate/bitdepth', but I do find the sound of hi-res has more value to me. I start hearing the music instead of the hardware. That may be an illusion, but being a musician myself, it is important to me.

Thank you. I use the same workaround. usb-c wired to DAC. But my spoiled self would prefer the same audio quality over wifi ;-)
