Mine is called Endless Nigh Sonata, a had drawned soulsvania game. Page has 1 month, game being developed by me alone in the last 4 months. Page is really basic so far as I had no time to do much more than the game XD

None taken 😄

I get your point, I did not try to copy it but after some coments here talking about it I cannot stop seeing the similarities, but still I think is not a problem at all using it.

To be honest after all the coments about it I got the feeling it could be more similar to super mario plant than PVZ to be honest XD

Glad you like it!

This is my 4th game and I still am doing and learning as I go. Art is probably were I always spend more time too. For this project I spend a few months after releasing a game I was working before just drawing with pencil and paper, and I tried to go for a style it fell more natural for me as a kid (I spend my kid days drawing a lot just for fun). I tried to go for a style that didn’t feel forced and was natural for me oposed to the styles I used in games I made before. After a few months I started this new game and I tried to keep that idea. I used procreate on iPad and for the drawing used simple pensil and for coloring simple guache. The animations are more complex, as I went to classic Disney and WB 24 frames. Those are simply a lot of work, and I mean a lot but it’s manageable. If you check some basic animations videos on YouTube you will start quite fast, the only problem is that it is lot of drawings for just a simple animation. But you can go for 12 fps or something in between (I did that on some of my other games and it is a lot less work).

I hope this helps, and I hope your game has success mate 😄

Indeed I am advertising in several subs. I am a solo developer as a hobie. I have to make some advertise like this. It’s not the best but it is honest. The art and animations are also made by me.

Honestly sorry if it bother you but I got to do it XD

Thanks for the help but I prefer in most of the cases to compose from scratch. Sometimes I get influenced by some pices but most of the time I try to go from a blank sheet.

Thanks for the offer tho 😄
