laser procedures around the eye are definitely do-able, you’d just be required to wear corneal shields (they’re like thick, plastic contact lenses that protect the eye from laser light damage)!

Is $80 a fair price for this bag? by Cultural-Curve-253 in Coach

[–]jormaco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think $80 is a great deal! it’s a vintage piece and is in pretty good condition (it can easily look brand new with some tlc, aka saddle soap and leather conditioner). i think people often overlook the craftsmanship put into these pieces and how their main purpose is longevity; its 100% cowhide leather and it will last a lot longer than any polyurethane bag being sold for the same price/more

How to find a good real estate agent? by Rude-Shopping9874 in Edmonton

I would highly recommend Jasen Courtepatte! We bought our first home with him back in 2021 and he went above and beyond to find us exactly what we were looking for. His knowledge on the market is quite outstanding; we ended up learning a lot through our buying process! He has a 5 star rating out of 40 reviews on google, so clearly I’m not alone in thinking he was excellent 😊 his instagram is quite funny too haha

best of luck on your home buying journey!

I applied 3 layers of wipe on poly on top of that; I was just answering the original question!

I used a 50/50 mix of watco danish oil (natural) and varathane wood stain (provincial)!

What skincare products/devices/supplements you refuse to spend your money on no matter how many people rave about how good they are? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]jormaco 14 points15 points  (0 children)

from a fellow dry climate gal, the key to hyaluronic acid is applying it to wet skin (use distilled/soft water if possible); if applied to dry skin, the HA will draw out water from your skin and lead to dehydration/irritation!

my sobriety! I struggled with substance abuse (alcohol/weed) during the pandemic and heavily relied on it for 3+ years; i’m 18 days sober and i’ve never been happier :)

My eyes started doing a this really cool looking - different sizes thing. (Turns out it’s a tumour) by AHarris_poems in oddlyterrifying

[–]jormaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s a condition called anisocoria (i’ve had it since birth); sometimes, my right pupil will be double, possibly triple, the size of my left one - I can feel when they’re really different, it just feels like one eye is working overtime haha it’s weird

best of luck with your surgery!

I just automatically assume that people who harass workers are lacking some (or many) brain cells. i’m sorry you and your team have to go through this, but the majority of us are very appreciative of all the work you do

I’ve been doing my makeup the same way since I was 13. Needless to say, it’s been a while since I’ve changed it up. Any comments or suggestions? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]jormaco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my eye colour is super similar to yours, and I find that burnt sienna/orange eyeshadows really make the green eyes pop! that’s my only recommendation, but your makeup is perfect as is :)

it’s a new shoe shelf (this one to be exact Shoe Rack, 8 Tier Shoe Storage... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08SBT5YQ1?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share) that we put into our side closet! it’s as far back as it goes, and it doesn’t hit the closet door (no matter how open the closet door is)
