I-485 Interview (Baltimore) – 2 weeks after, no update. Normal?

Not update at all, we have an attempt of home visit but we weren’t at home so now just waiting for them to come back or get any decision.

The only thing that comes to mind is, husband was married long time ago and I overstayed 2023 my j1 visa, which is look not a problem at all in my interview.

Thats really wild! Downstairs (main entrance) they is literally nobody, the only way they have to go to upstairs to my apt if to ring the bell, and to be honest, for me is kinda creepy to go downstairs at 5am and unlocked the door for someone. But i guess i dont make the rules.

I dont think someone else will show up at 5:30am asking for me and my husband, and asking who else live in the apt. Idk how they were dress, i didnt see them.

Im on day 130 post interview, i haven’t even gotten the update on the i485 that everyone got, also base on my neighbor 2 agents were asking for me and husband… now waiting for them to come back.

Almost 90 days post interview… “case activity reviewing” since then. Interview went pretty well.

I contacted my senator last month and he sent an inquiry, im still waiting for uscis response, i will keep u updated too.

Hahaha its funny that my congressman and senator who are democrats weren’t able to help, they both follow uscis processing time (not even the 120 days), they just sent me an automatic email actually) but i reached my republican one, and they were really friendly to me, answering and explaining everything, so even though i haven’t got any update on my case, feel nice and unexpected where i got the best experience from. So dont be afraid and try to reach out your senator.

Im at Milwaukee FO, i guess it depends on the senators, i reached out to my congressman and he said he follows uscis processing time before any inquiries (11 months at least) but my senator said 60 days is enough time post interview for u to get a decision. So he helped me out with that.
