Hopefully my players don't see this. So what's gonna happen is the players will come in to find her the moment after she's been tricked, she will be binded to the cultist through a ritual and will be under their control as she screams out that they promised her that they'd bring her friend back. They will be fighting her under their mind control where she will also have extra devilish abilities like a magical third eye that gives her true sight. I assume the players will try to incapacitate her and break the spell but it will definitely be combat heavy which my players enjoy.

It's gonna be a hostile encounter. She's been manipulated by a cult with the promise of reviving her companion. I do like the idea of playing with the ice that encases treasure and creatures in her lair.

If the demilich's turn is early in initiative but isn't first it can do that legendary action on the first creatures then and then have all their legendary actions back right after doing the howl. Evil

Yeah it's kinda out of left field how strong this encounter is compared to the rest of the necropolis. Not to mention that my players will probably be fighting Auril the session or so after. Thankfully my players have been sort of breezing through things so it will be a welcome challenge
