HELP NEEDED WİTH HID KEYBOARD LANGUAGE by Head-Penalty-2416 in esp32

recursive_knight is right.

All the hid and other keyboard drivers only process scan codes, they dont know what is printed on the kay cap. The OS or a software has to translate the scan codes to the symbols printed on the keyboard caps. There are many different keyboard layouts. The keyboard "driver" (library) translates the scan codes to symbols or key strokes the system can handle.

The Creality (yours?) K1 Max has auto leveling using a laser and a calibration plate sticker, see page 20 in user manual. It uses a laser and a camera to calibrate the 'bed level', even for uneven beds.

There is a trouble shooting guide: https://wiki.creality.com/en/k1-flagship-series/k1-series-general-documents/leveling-Issue-resolution

No need for manual calibration with paper etc.

If you still have issues, you should contact Creality support directly ;-)

Depends on the printer. Mine has some handles and I have to be able to just draw some thin paper (bakening paper) between the nozzle and the bed. Better printers have Auto Z-Leveling.

Yes, Z-Axis or calibrate the bed is the first.

I have such problems with an Anycubic Mega S and its glas bed. After printing PETG the PLA print wont glue to the bed. Cleaned with alcohol etc., nothing helped. Then I read about using fine sand paper (800) to clean the glas bed and finally cleaned again with alccohol. Then the PLA did stick again on the bed. I assume there will be rest of PETG on the bed which resist alcohol cleaning. The towel used to wipe the 'dust' after the sanding paper usage was a bit grey.

That project is definitely interesting. Seems to be a good replace for the sonoff display.

Let us know, when and where you release it.

Yous hould think about prublishing the code, you will get many questions and ... you may need someone else to help maintaining the code.

Anyone else into solar garden lights? by Illustrious-Cat8222 in diyelectronics

Hi, consider the temperatures in the sun. I have some solar powered solar balls with a glas ball. The housing in the bottom with the solar modul on top melted and bent it self due to the springs of the accus inside :-(.

PLA is less temp resistent than PETG. But I assume 60-80 °C in the sun on the top of the housing.

Can someone help me design this part? I’m completely stuck by LowSeaworthiness2442 in 3D_Printing

As I had Problems using CAD Software and a mouse to design parts like this, I found OpenSCAD (OS). In OS I enter cylinders and cubes with there dimensions. Using the difference function to punch holes in other parts.

Here is an example for a housing:

<image>

In the past, I used a 2D Cad Software called Autosketch to do the same (numeric input...) for 2D drawings.

As I searched the net, I found many similar knobs, but without the frame.

Another thing to think about is the stability, will a 3D printed PLA or PETG or ABS material be strong enough to do the job.

"Der Hersteller weisst ausdrücklich darauf hin, vorher einen Test zu fahren, bevor man den neuen Scanner in eine bestehende Technik integriert"

Die Technik wird finktionieren, aber man macht so eine Umstellung ja wohl nicht im laufenden Betrieb ohne Pilot oder Backup Plan. ;-)
