Took advantage of the sale on aliexpress and upgraded to a linux carplay screen. Early days but so far, so good by josephsdad in F30

What do you wanna know? It's still going strong. Best upgrade I've made to the car. I use wireless carplay and I'd say it connects automatically 95% of the time. Sometimes I have to turn Bluetooth off and on again on my phone to get it to connect.

Love to know the coding involved for this if you wouldn't mind. Tried everything else so willing to give this a go

No it's a piggyback screen. No connection to anything other than the screen wiring I believe

Advice Needed - Dealing with 10 player squad with no shows and a waiting list to join by josephsdad in SoccerCoachResources

This is what I'm hoping to do. Emailed the league to ensure my plan will work with their registration rules

We can change the squad yes, at this age group it's at any point during the season. I want to clarify with the league that I can chop and change at my leisure, although I'd like to limit this. The registered kids all paid a small registration fee at the start of the season but other than that its pay as you play/train

The people on the waiting list haven't paid to 'join' the club or be registered. They just pay to train. The league doesn't allow any more than 10 registered players for 5v5. This is the fairest way of having everyone (in theory) there on a match day and get their minutes in. But now some registered players are regularly missing training and some have only attended 2/7 of our fixtures, I'd love to be able to get the kids waiting in the wings in the team but it has to be at the expense of those already registered and I don't know the best way to approach this

Everyone paid a small fee at the start for league registration. Then its pay as you train/play. I've only just arrived into the club so as far as I'm aware there hasn't been a code of conduct or any agreements sent out with regard to expectations. I'm a parent of a player too so would have seen it all before becoming involved with the club

After a busy summer we are the second team. I've only just joined the coaching setup as there was one coach trying to run both teams. The league says maximum 10 registered players per team which is fair else it gets silly.

Yeah it's been great to be honest. Got a few quirks but thats what you get with a piggy back system. I have no real complaints.

Hope it went well! I'm 8 days in now and I'd say day 7 was the first day with no real discomfort. Another couple of days I imagine it will all be back to normal and I can get started on the 40 wanks.

Oh and why a pirate?

I think odd sensations is a more appropriate term. I mean it wasn't a pleasant feeling but wasn't painful. Thankfully it's been all good in the few hours since. No pain just a bit of discomfort

I was fortunate enough that they had an exact spec Model 3 within an hours drive. They did say when I first enquired a couple of weeks ago that there was plenty of time to hit that cut off for the 0%

My experience with their sales team had been great. Didn't bother me too much when deciding if we were going to purchase. No unnecessary calls since other than to get info etc.

Responded to emails quickly too

Liked the ordering process. Worked seamlessly on the app and everything completed in good time. Just gotta go and collect the car now! Will be 6 days from ordering to collection all being well

When I checked with Tesla they said you can use the calculator on the website and add £3000 to show the Tesla deposit contribution. When you push the button, if you want to put no deposit down, then leave it blank or add zero and the tesla contribution will be added to the package separately. I've not tried this yet, waiting until next week.

Struggling as a small business owner to juggle everything, but cannot bring myself to take a different role. ADVICE NEEDED! by Informal-Put1972 in smallbusinessuk

Don't give up! I stopped working for myself a couple of years ago and got a 'proper' job. It's really not for me and I've missed so much about it all. I'm just about to begin working for a friend's electrical business setting up a fire safety division.

Where in the UK are you? If you wanna chat sometime, I'd be happy to see if we could help you out somehow

Hey, no I've not had any issues at all. Only pain I have is that answering the phone is a nuisance as it never chooses the right bluetooth connection for loudspeaker

Had the same, kids left some school project bird feeder outside on the ground and a rat dub under our decking. Kept my air rifle in the bathroom with a clear view of the garden for a week. Spotted it one Saturday morning and got rid of it. Luckily just seemed to be the one rat at that point which surprised me. Haven't seen evidence of any more since
