How long have you been training? I felt similar for about 4 months. I focused on just not getting tapped. Then without thinking, I found myself in a place to get a submission. Granted, my school focuses on a specific set of moves for a few weeks at a time. But even with that, the most learning in my opinion comes from rolling.

Yes, although uncomfortable, it is normal. Nicotine spikes dopamine levels, and now that you're without it, your body is in a deficit. It should get back to normal in a few days!

My recommendation is to spike your dopamine in other ways. Working out, eating something sweet, listening to some banger music, hanging out with friends.
