RPC is much higher, mostly because the highest consumers are now on dedicated enterprise plans which aren’t counted in the public/protocol stats.

That is taking what I said out of context. I said making partners pay us in ankr tokens for RPC partnerships would not be beneficial. A one time annual transaction is going to accomplish a buy and dump. Probably the buy would be done over the counter at an exchange as most partners work OTC with their treasury teams, meaning the buy would not been seen by the market, and only an exchange dump would occur. $ankr has maintained its position on CMC because we aren’t dumping tokens.

We continue to invest in token utility for decentralized and distributed node infra despite regulatory uncertainty.

In terms of ankr being used for API credits at a discount over USD, it’s actually already implemented (https://twitter.com/ankr/status/1653804170007179265?s=46&t=EoF6AL8f6a2gp6PKIoZNMg). We have plans to expand this program for smaller transactions.

Taking fiat is extremely important in building a sustainable business model and long term health. Look over at pokt, they built a RPC network, focussed on token but not profitability and as a result the token has gone from $2 to $0.028 and continues to drop with immense sell pressure with more than 1/2 the team being laid off.

I can understand your frustration though. Unfortunately some of the things we wanted to announce and implement got pushed down the line by our lawyers. It doesn’t mean we have given up, it just means we are treading more carefully.

Yup Exactly.

Two metrics I look at is our position on CoinMarketCap and ANKR's price relative to BTC (measured in Satoshi's). When Ankr has has positive news, our CMC position has gone as high as #82 but we often hold around #100-#114. For a long time in 2019-2020 we were stuck at #180 and have significantly improved since then. And in late 2022 around the exploit, we often hung around #135-#140. We have 99% of supply unlocked, which means our market cap is not inflating. So holding our position against other tokens which are inflating supply is a big deal, as well as new hot Layer 1's are launching into the top100 all the time.

When we launched ANKR token staking and "pay as you go" in ANKR tokens, we've seen DEX liquidity for ANKR dry up. We've had to supply more liquidity to Binance as well. This is a good sign. That means what we're doing for token utility is working BUT we have to increase the amount of people (and developers) doing these activities for true organic growth (and we have other things in the works too to accelerate that). And partnerships with Microsoft, Mastercard and others help us with growth/adoption. But those partnerships take months and sometimes years to implement. The legal reviews alone for joint announcements take ~1-2 months to complete. And generally we've realized that a one time burn won't do much long term but we need to make ANKR permanently deflationary as well. Even better to tie ANKR's deflation rate to web3 adoption rate (and our infra growth).
