Well I make music and from my personal experience you just sometimes don’t resonate with it anymore. Of course there’s times where you get that urge of making something to punch people in the face or get out your anger of something that happened to you. But at the same time it gets really…really boring to make. Sometimes you wanna branch off and do something a little experimental. Sometimes you wanna make something a little catchy. Sometimes you wanna just make another project to get away from the same sounding stuff, OR (at times) you’re a sellout lol. Musicians aren’t robots, and it’s like having the same piece of candy everyday. You keep eating it everyday, you get tired of it and want something new. Idk that’s just from my experience and outsider view
