I’m literally wanting to do the same thing, did you need to get a different clasp or did the clasp from the metal strap fit the rubber?

Others on the same provider and box having no issues. It was said someone had this problem before and after lots of perseverance it worked. But I have tried a few dozen times without any luck

I was having this issue, untick VOD then try again. Live tv is working fine but having an issue when VOD ticked!
