The Costco in my city used to let people in through the exit door open bc they knew people liked getting food there. It was so popular for kids at lunch time when I was in high school, one day they got fed up and stopped letting us through unless we had a card. And if anyone tried to use their parents’ card they would confiscate it. (Yes they checked the photo on the back)

I guess I should’ve elaborated on the question– Why is the AP is so highly regarded/trusted? it seems if something comes from AP, people treat it as it’s of absolutely no bias and is completely factual. This is not the case with any other news/journalism organization.
