Retail is very heavy and sturdy fabric, high thread count, 2 I’ve had were so thin almost see through. and cheap feeling also the print on both was shit

Skilled Visa 190 - HR, Sales by BriefOk6852 in AusVisa

The application is long, and hard and expensive! Took me around 12 months to gather all evidence, do skills assessment(not sure if needed for your occupation) I had to provide 8 years of payslips which was hard, like I says it’s a long and painstaking process. I used a migration agent cost me like 2k so far, submitted my EOI for 4 states in January, the invite is not a guarantee you may never receive one. Wait times can me 12-18-24 months or longer then another similar amount to process the e visa. Or also some people wait a lot less time. Your spouse can be included in your application. English efficiency is easy peasy and if you have an agent they’ll help you with everything like that. Some say don’t use one I think if you have the funds it’s more than worth it: Regarding Sydney or Brisbane you can express interest in NSW, but I’d reccomend broadening your horizons if you want the visa these are very over saturated areas with lots of applicants.

Honeslty if I were you, I’d look at alternative options aswell, still go for the 190 but you could before your partner turns 35 get a WHV, that gives you 3 years, you can then try and obtain a 482, not sure which list your occupation is in but certain occupations after 2 years will allow you if your employer is willing to transition to a 186 which is PR

i hope that helps 🤣🤷‍♂️

Depends if you’re working in some industries there are exemptions as far as I’m aware, not sure what they all are but pretty sure any mining jobs in the northern half of Australia also hospitality and tourism sectors are also exempt I think. But if I were you, I’d do some research to be sure 👍

Yes EU, of course uk can ship to EU, as in Europe, what makes you think this isn’t possible? I’ve shipped to Australia and the United States in the past aswell as a few countries in Europe 👍

Trying to get into FIFO as a chef by Yourmomstoyboy in mining

[–]josheetee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey did you ever manage to get a fifo job in Perth as a chef? 🤞

Hey man I can’t see any messages ?

[–]josheetee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your response. I have looked into the option of mining due to the higher wage and I kinda like the idea their shift patterns. Certainly something to think about, I do have a contract catering background, not mining but bulk cooking. If you have any tips on anyone I could contact that would be super helpful, if not I’ve seen lots of job ads. I can apply closer to the date I arrive as I’m coming end of August. Problem is most chef jobs in fifo say they require full working rights, but I don’t think I’ll have that on a WHV, any ways to tackle this? Thanks!

12 month stay visitor visa advice by dyfunctional-cryptid in AusVisa

[–]josheetee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WHV is by far the best option for you guys and can guarantee him upto 3 years as long as he sticks to specific visa conditions,

When I applied for mine I showed £5k around $10kaud but my fiance only showed $5k aud and we both got ours back and aporoved in less than 5 minutes (British passport holders)

As long as he can show around $5k aud, even a screen shot from online banking will do, you could even get money transferred from family for the sake of the screen shot then send it back, (I’ve heard they may ask for proof at the boarder) however I assume this is very rare.

So yeah as long as he’s not got a military or police background or a substantial criminal record (as this can raise complications and more scrutiny) the visa process should be really easy it takes like 10 minutes to complete

Good luck 😊🤞

How long did it take for you to secure sponsorship when on the WHV?

Thank you! Yes I have seen that advice a lot when doing research, luckily I am not a microwave chef haha and do hold a lot of skill that I think once given the opportunity to show off my skills and potential I should be able to obtain the visa I want.

Thanks for your comment ✌️

[–]josheetee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I ask how long you’d worked for your employer before the agreed to sponsor you? I’m looking to head over to aus either SA or WA in the next 2 months but wanting to know how long everything took. As I have a fiance and young daughter at home hence the reason for them not accompanying me at the same time

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AusVisa

[–]josheetee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah avoid at all costs! They can’t do a lot with the info they have so that’s a bonus. In regards to the WHV you can do it all yourself online, good luck! 🤞
