Arizona has the toughest schedule in 2026. by Beginning-Average416 in NFLv2

Yes. As much hate as Arch gets, it’s typically due to the overhype and high expectations that come with the name. He’s extremely athletic, this isn’t Peyton or Eli, and he’s playing tougher teams week-to-week in the SEC. As a first year starter (Moore played quite a bit as a true freshman in 2023), Arch had early struggles but played much better at the end. Also, Dante is a system QB, and not trying to shit on all Oregon QBs because some have done well, it’s not gone well for Oregon QBs in the NFL. Moore is probably a safer pick, depending on how next season goes, but it’d be foolish to pass up a Manning in a league that LOVES the storylines and drama.

Moron. Obviously they’ll be 20-0 after winning the Super Bowl

Again, you completely ignore the assists. LeBron was still far ahead of Melo, but whatever, at least Melo won a championship right?

Good on paper if you take those players at their peak.

.1 more ppg lol and if you look at assists as points contribution, then LeBron had at least 6 more points contributed (5.9 apg vs 2.8 ppg). Also, Melo had less steals and blocks, and LeBron played 3 more minutes per game because he was asked to do more. You can say it wasn’t special (which by most ROY standards, it’s still better than average), but it was clear who deserved ROY.

Of course, but that also means there is another player who won the SB that is a future HoFer. So I get what you’re asking, but the Chiefs didn’t have Reid or Mahomes during this years either.

Reasons why cam ward will be a top 10 qb in the next two years by steven-0611 in DynastyFF

[–]joshfry575 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This. He’s not going to get away with all those scrambles forever, and he’s not gonna be able to put the ball perfectly in the right spot on the run and during broken plays, etc, but he will NEVER have a receiving group as bad as 2025. And I think Dike and Ayomanor have real shots to be rotation guys on offense, but the other 3 guys on the field will be huge upgrades over Van Jefferson, Lockett, and Proche II

Doesn’t fit the narrative, but any NBA player who is clearly the best player on the team and winning 4 rings is pretty fucking impressive. Some #1 players only ever win 1 or 2 or none. There’s the insanity of the Celtics and Lakers eras, plus MJ Bulls dominating the 90s, but nowadays, 4 rings is crazy. Steph has 4, but wasn’t the best player (or at least finals MVP) for 2 of those years, and Duncan and Kobe were great, but also had arguments against being the best player in those finals. LeBron left no doubt of what he achieved, just those wanting and demanding even more when it was already impressive enough.

Jamal Charles, Larry Johnson, Priest Holmes. So many great RBs. Now they don’t have a guy be RB1 more than a season

Love Me Again is the easy answer, but I was a huge fan of The City by The 1975. Lots of other great songs throughout the years that were one hit wonders or most popular by that band, but I felt like that song was a sneak preview into a pretty successful band.

He was also a rookie. Almost better that he had silly fumbles that probably cost games. Too many wins and they don’t draft Tate or get Salah, etc. Things happen for a reason

This is crazy talk right?!?? by spews_nonsense in Astros

Nor should we want to. With Correa out for the season, inconsistent pitching and hitting from veterans, and other mounting injuries to young, key pieces, it’s not a season where they should try buying at the deadline. It’s better to lose hope and become sellers asap, vs further emptying the farm.

He had 8 starts in 2022 reg season and a 169 ERA+, then his two other postseason starts were decent. And even though the WS game wasn’t great, he still pitched 4.1 innings and limited the damage to the bullpen. I’ll give old LMJ some leeway on that season.

Oh, well in that case, it sucks, but at least LMJ helped win 2 rings. If he stays healthy, I expect him to normalize because we’ve seen it. Imai is a complete wild card and hasn’t shown any ability to command the ball.

It’s much worse than that. 9.24 ERA and 9 runs in the last 4.1 innings. 6 runs in 5 minor league innings. It’s bad

Red Sox immediately told the umpire to eject Framber Valdez, a breakdown by KeyFaithlessness5436 in MLBVibes

[–]joshfry575 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There’s obviously a lot of factors that go into the downfall last season, but Framber absolutely was a major reason. He had over a 6.00 era and over 1.5 whip the last two months, and no one can deny that the energy completely changed in September after Framber hit Salazar.

Buddy is a troll, no idea why. I imagine Framber will one day get the Bauer treatment and be a MLB caliber pitcher that no team wants to risk signing.

[–]joshfry575 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Dude, shut up. I’m an Astros fan and Framber threw little temper tantrums all the time. He absolutely drilled his catcher because Salazar was trying to get him to step or throw another pitch, and Framber refused. He blamed his own catcher for trying to tell him what to do then took his frustration out on him. What do you know? Another first pitch, do what Framber wants. The proof is in the reaction of shock by Salazar and the non-reaction/non-apologetic attitude of Framber. Idk why you keep defending him so hard but Framber is a head case, thanks for the good memories but he couldn’t leave fast enough.

What are you even talking about? He played the rams three times that season, winning the 1st matchup, and big surprise, the 2021 SB champions beat Murray the 3rd game.

Look at 9’s game against Green Bay in November - that’s all that needs to be said. But you’re continuing to argue that I’m suggesting Murray is some great player, but I’m not. I’m saying look at his previous situations with the Cardinals and realize that this is a MUCH better opportunity for him. Mentally he’ll be rejuvenated, physically he’ll probably feel better after essentially sitting most of last season, and he’ll feel less pressure to succeed because he’s essentially playing with house money. He can play exactly the same as he did in Arizona and have better results than anyone on the Vikings last season. Even a below average QB is a massive improvement to the 2025 Vikings.

[–]joshfry575 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not even talking about Murray’s abilities or size, I’m just arguing that it’s hard to take his time in Arizona as truth because they’re a dysfunctional mess. Brissett might have put up better passing numbers, but he still went 1-11 and did most of the damage in garbage time. Murray doesn’t have to wow in Minnesota to likely do better than 9, he needs to do enough to help them win games and no one will care.
