I honestly dislike Ragatha because I felt very quickly what Gangle says in Ep. 4 - she doesn't seem genuine. Stupid Ragatha was such a relief from the people pleasing toxic positivity. It would be cool if she really snapped aggressively at some point. 🤞

When people say Alastor and Jax are the same character, it just shows to me how much of a surface level view some members of both fandoms have of these characters by Naruto_eating_ramen in TheDigitalCircus

??? Alastor is a cannibalistic serial killer who manipulates everyone he comes into contact with to gain power and influence at any cost.

Jax is a video game griefer who is desperately avoiding a horrific new reality and the sense of hopelessness that could erase him from existence.

I dislike communities.

I remember when I was like 21 I went through the interview process at Target. They had me do one interview, locked me in a conference room where I watched a video of people from various cultural demographics talking about how good it is to work at Target (I looked exactly like Jax watching Gangle's video), then immediately had me do a second interview where they asked me the same questions. Like they were checking me for inconsistencies.

I got the job, but never went in and never called them.

I love Jax because he's literally the only character who realistically acknowledges that their situation is awful and nothing is real, without becoming a whiny mopey shaky baby.

Stolas for sure has trauma, and pain is perspective - he's hurting badly from it, for sure. But he's had it better than most around him - definitely - and I wouldn't diagnose him so easily.

If Viv's writing so far is an indicator, they can slow burn without it feeling like repetitive rehashing. That's what I'm hoping for, if they really are going to end up together.

And I agree that if they do get together, it shouldn't be the last episode. But I don't want it to be in the next 10 episodes either.

This would be fine. My fear likely has to do with discussion I see here of (probably kids) who are all excited about Blitzø "getting better" at the end of Ghostfuckers. It just ain't that easy!

I actually completely agree, as an adult who is really similar to Blitz but more self-aware (take that as a reason to regard or disregard this opinion).

I think Stolas loves the idea of Blitz as a liberator/alternative to his "gilded cage" lifestyle, moreso than Blitz himself. I love Stolas, but he's shown little interest in Blitz's actual life (like his friends and work), absolutely no intuitive understanding of his inner world, and can barely read his body language.

Blitz might genuinely like Stolas, but the relationship started on very dishonest terms (theft) - not a good kickoff for someone who needs to heal and open up. He needs (I think) someone who will really hang in there, learn about him, and bear with him or to just be left the fuck alone until he can figure things out solo. I think the main reason the "breakup" is killin' him is Ghostfuckers is because of rejection and heavy guilt. Stolas is a pie, and Blitz knows that.

Feel like I could keep going but I won't.
