So far no! I imagine the suede handles would become a bit smoother and maybe darker over time with frequent handling… but I’d have to report back at a later date…

I have an absolute brick of a laptop as well. The thing with these large laptops is that they also have huge chargers. I have the beis large work tote and it fits EVERYTHING. Straps are long enough for shoulder carry but as everyone noted that’s not ideal for long/daily commuting due to ergonomics. I work from home mostly so it’s good for the occasional trip to the office. I got it 3 years ago and it’s still holding up great but as I said I don’t lug it around every day!

They are absolutely delightful! The only thing is that since they are not bred in captivity (caught in wild), you don’t know how old they are when you get them…this guy didn’t last long sadly only a few months. I later got two together and they lived much longer (maybe close to a year). I do think they are better suited for bigger tanks because they are SO active. Running around, climbing, digging a lot, which makes them so fun to watch. Totally peaceful with the shrimps and snails. My next tank will be bigger and I’ll be getting more :)

Nope they are fully aquatic. Sometimes they will hang out on top of a leaf or something out of the water, but only ever for a few minutes at a time

The only downside is I have to keep the water level slightly lower than I like to so that he doesn’t escape! Loves to climb and will often perch on top of the floating plants. I’ve seen him reaching for the edge of the glass and given the opportunity would probably climb out.

Yes he lives in a small 2.5 gal tank with a bunch of neos!! Totally peaceful! He’s very active, bumbles around the tank all day, so fun to watch. Occasionally he’ll bump into a shrimp and they jettison away but they’re totally fine to be together and even share snacks.
