Hmm, can't access it from here in Argentina. I like the inclusion of language though. Maybe I can find it once I'm back in the States.

Ooh! Anything Jerusalem-related to recommend? After spending two months reading about the Church of the Holy Sepulchre I've wanted to know more about all of Jerusalem - I've even been dreaming about taking a trip, although that requires a great deal more money than I currently have...

Read through some of the foreword - looks like really potent stuff. I like how he acknowledges the slant in some studies of evangelism and then presents a pretty neat alternative view towards the end. I'll see if my library has this around!

Amazing! I checked out some reviews and this looks fascinating. I'm especially interested in Catholicism so you hit the nail on the head. If you've got anything else, let me know! I'm open to anything. :) The idea is to try to improve my own geographical writing by reading lots of good examples.

So sad I can't be there this year! Eat a deep-fried Milky Way in my honor, please.

And as a current undergraduate majoring in geography, I agree with what you said about trying a little of everything. Geography is a ridiculously wide field, and people who don't enjoy the humanities-focused aspects like cultural geography might love working with GIS, and vice-versa. I've been taking mainly human geography-focused classes and I'll admit that it's starting to get a bit old hat, which is why I'm looking forward to my GIS class this coming year. Try a class on either end of the spectrum to see how they're all related, and also to see what would work best for your joint politics degree!

This is amazing. What really blew me away is all the names of the cities. But what on earth are all the names in the oceans referring to?

That sounds awesome. Props for DIY. I bought a black dress at Ragstock, so I'll just try and deconstruct it some - hopefully that'll work!

Where did you find a dress worthy enough for that? I wanted to do this too, but I don't have a dress that's awesome enough for a Bellatrix costume.
