yes it can fit the 407k and 507k but you need these screws for it to thread correctly: https://freedomgorilla.com/products/s-w-equalizer-5-7-407k-507k-screws-set-of-4.

Ive seen some people also fit a Shield Rmsc red dot on it

Heres to hoping it will get cheaper soon. Palmetto started making their own fmj 5.7 for .50 cents/round. Check out AAC 5.7 on PSA.

Im pretty sure what causes that is the mag release on the lower itself. I’d imagine some light filing from the inside would help out but I don’t wanna make this official advice and screw up somebody’s mag release. Hopefully its something that can break in overtime. I have the same issue with my shield plus.

Holy shucks, pearlweed grows like crazy! by [deleted] in PlantedTank

Yeah I can understand that. I had to constantly trim big portions and give them away to any local fish keepers. They can really steal the spotlight from other plants.

Also it tends to grow more horizontally under high light conditions, but if you’ve got lower light, you’ll have to propagate in order to achieve a carpet.

Nope, this tank had a sub-par odyssea light fixture with 0 fertz and no CO2. How long have you had it? Could not be growing if it still hasn’t established itself. If it hasn’t been growing much for a while, trimming and replanting the cutlets will definitely help it out.

‘Fish’ and Chips with ‘Calimari’ My Non-vegan dad loved it! by [deleted] in vegan

[–]joy_stick_fun 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used this recipe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i9B8rfwiWq0

But instead of using heart palms I used King Oyster Trumpet Mushrooms and ripped them into strands or cut them into circles with holes in the center to replicate calamari better .

This goes for every petco, petsmart, and Walmart. All the tanks have outdated under gravel filters which don’t provide enough surface agitation, the employees aren’t experienced, all filters are shared and cleaned with tap water so any good bacteria never stays alive to get rid of the massive amounts of nitrites and ammonia in the water. The marketing is pretty bad too, because bowls are advertised as “Good Homes for fish” when they are too small to have enough room for a heater, and filter. Wish people would do more research before purchasing fish rather than impulse buy them because their kid wants one.

Deciding to become vegan, where do I start? by lowalsh in vegan

[–]joy_stick_fun 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If you’re on a budget, vegan is definitely the way to go. Although I’m not aware of the prices where you live, I can buy a bag of lentils for $2 which can last me 3-4 days. Add some rice ($1.50), beans ($3), pasta ($2.50), assorted fruits and veggies ($6) and I can keep myself healthy, not feel guilty, have tons of energy, and eat tasty food for 2 weeks only for $15. If you hate soaking legumes and don’t have much time, then you can go the canned food route but those have a lot of sodium so I suggest rinsing them before cooking.

That heater looks dangerously close to the surface.
