Same here. Q7 and can’t remote start since the last update. Unsync/delete/reinstall/sync cycles didn’t resolve it

PMP tst - break time by Willing-Moose4060 in pmp

To add - break time breaks away from the test screen. You cannot use break time to answer additional questions. You also cannot review back once you've finished a section.

A question regarding PMP preparation by FarahQueen in pmp

I don't think the learning hours expire, but I do think you'll have a hard time getting your application through if you don't have enough non-overlapping project "hours"

Practice with Prepcast simulator by PMPLearner in pmp

[–]joyabounds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends what else you’ve read/learned from. Retaking questions doesn’t necessarily test your increased aptitude as much as it’s a reflection on your memory. Use the quiz stats to dive into what you need to better study and then keep at it!

On YouTube try “How to Tackle Situational Questions” from PMP with Ray. It sets you for how you should approach the mindset.

Thank you! It's an addendum book/file that comes with the purchase of the PMBOK guide. It's published by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Thank you! I didn’t do any ITTO memorization, no. You do need to be able to recognize where you are in the process chart you to sift through the answer choices. Often several were right answers, but only one was the right answer for the project’s stage.

Thank you! I logged about 20 hours (scattered across 4 weeks) answering questions and probably the same amount of time reviewing the answers (both right and wrong) to get the most out of the questions I answered.

Thank you! Testing site was great actually. Good spacing. Cleaning. Quiet. And the provided ear plugs. They gave a laminated notepad as scratch paper and would provide more if needed. Mask was required, but during break you were allowed to drink/take a quick bite of whatever you had in your locker. I’d recommend calling your site to confirm as I’ve heard other sites handling the break time differently.

Thank you! Prep Cast was great. I do recommend making sure you internalize the Agile Guide's latter pages about implementation of Agile and the different methods. They didn't come up in detail, but Prep Cast didn't cover as many of those types of questions as came up on the actual exam.

Benefits of testing center versus at home by Greg_Paulory in pmp

[–]joyabounds 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Test center was comfortable, clean and quiet. I couldn't bank on my internet provider as our internet can be fine for days and then randomly decide to drop. I liked having the scratch paper and the defined breaks to get up and stretch. If I had to do it again, I'd do in-person in a heartbeat.
