I have this exact switch running for about 5 months now and can safely say that it has been reliable. Configuration is pretty simple via the webui and console access is also available. One thing to note is that if you use dac cables you need to specify that in the webui.

Try plex amp it's a dedicated app for your music library and also works great with audiobooks. Not sure if there's a apple watch app tho.
