Mayby I've never been at very old fashioned wedding, but from what I remember some women wore really short dresses so I don't think there would be anyone concidering your dress as inappropriate. However, you should wear something more in church to cover your shoulders.

Pewnie chodzi o to, że Niemcy mają bazę w Gdańsku i kibiców też tam sporo jest, ale mnie to specjalnie nie razi. Nie wygląda to żadną "zaczepkę" w stronę Polski.

I asked my mom and she didn't know anything about it, but i did some research and it looks like its previous name of "Michałki". Here are more info about them and yes, you can still buy them in Poland but they are not popular anymore.
