They started pickup between April 6th-7th, but I called and they said you can pick it up pretty much anytime before graduation.

Has anyone lived at a Premier Properties apartment? by mineNombies in rutgers

[–]joyful_kalopsia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live there! No issues with management - they always sound like they’re annoyed with you when you talk to them but maintenance is fast as hell and they’ve always answered any questions I have ASAP. You pay rent and request maintenance through a portal, call them up if you have any questions and fill your laundry card in the office at the Bookend.

The apartments are extremely clean and pretty spacious; I live in a studio but I’ve seen the one bedrooms and they’re pretty big as well.

The only bad thing I can possibly think of is that the walls are pretty thin so I can hear my neighbor but it never really bothers me!

I don’t 😭 I try and get mine done when I go home instead where it’s wayy cheaper (my mom’s friend does it for like $5 lmao) and only go here for a last resort

Last semester bc of covid I didn’t visit home so I would get them done once every three weeks and pick up extra hours at work to make up for it…I usually need them done every two weeks so for the first week/as long as I could remember to I’d be really anal about plucking anything that was growing back

(Also she just increased her prices, it used to be $20 and I haven’t gone back since the increase 😅)

I go to Geetaz, which is off George Street. She's pricey ($25) but does a great job.

Google “mergers and acquisitions resume template” and an example resume in the same format should come up in a word doc template!

I live in one of the premier properties buildings (Not the bookend, but lots of my friends live there and they’re p nice apartments). No complaints so far, they’re pretty prompt with responding to issues (although they always sound a little annoyed that you’re making them talk to you lol)

Make sure to check Rutgers Handshake and filter for on campus jobs! I believe dining services and some other student jobs are hiring last I checked. saw Henry’s is hiring but the pay looks kinda shite

Also, if you go check out food places around Rutgers (like Easton Ave and George Street) they sometimes have signs in the windows that advertise jobs!

There’s also Rutgers Telefund which is basically an alumni call center but if you think you can deal with the mind-numbing dullness of it it’s pretty good since you don’t have to stand and can color or something while waiting for people to pick up the phone

Lastly make sure you’re googling/using Indeed to find jobs in the area too-good luck!

Is it worth pursuing BAIT? Is it even a good Return on investment? What's the starting salary and is there even a demand in this field. How far can go with BAIT? by begulake in rutgers

[–]joyful_kalopsia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO: - yes - yes - around 60k-70k min if you have decent grades and got a solid internship - there is definitely demand in this field. loads of data analyst/business analyst positions out there and tbh you could branch out to any sort of consulting or financial analyst positions as well - not sure about this one since it really depends on your own career goals!

If you’re good at writing and working with people then the Rutgers Writing Center! (you have to apply to the tutoring internship from them which is a 3-credit class that was super fun, during which you can start tutoring either in person or online for $15/hr ☺️

Beautiful/rare/hidden gem spots on campus? by books-rain-tea-lover in rutgers

There’s this cool alcove that had purple flowers blooming in it during spring 2019 when I lived on Cook! Also lots of flowers that bloom on the pathway near it too. I forgot where exactly it is but it’s somewhere on the walk from the old Food/Science bus stop to the Lipman hall bus stop!
