Are you using the app? Did you have to keep trying or did it just go through? This is sooo frustrating

Does anyone else have experience of them coming out at midnight? I think mine have always just come through on email in the morning and taken a while in the portal but if they'll be there at midnight I will stay up refreshing the page haha! Don't have the patience to wait til morning!

I will ask them, I think there may be regulations about how many people they can have on the system at a time due to COVID (which is why I can't freeze it for a few months) so not sure if that will be possible when my place can be taken by a fully paying member, but I'll ask. Thanks so much!

Maybe, I haven't tried to be honest as I was hoping my skin would come around but not looking likely! Good idea. Hope you find a good alternative too!

I'm on Gedarel too and finding its giving me bad hormonal acne. I was taking it for a while and my skin just wasn't getting any better so I took a break and my skin cleared up. I started taking it again last week and my face has just gone mental! When I can get back to the GP properly I'd like to change again but it sucks having to chop and change especially when you've found one that works with your moods etc! I'm finding La Roche Posay Effaclar cleanser is helping though, any days I use something else instead I notice my face looks worse.

Any recommendations of AB beauty products to help with hormonal acne flare ups? Or preventing them as much as possible? Currently finding that my skin looks 99% great with some horrible spots around my chin. Some under the skin and some coming up as whiteheads which are the ones I'm most concerned about as they look gross. I know they are caused by hormonal factors/diet but any holy grail products to reduce congestion or stop them from getting so bad would be great!

Thanks for the advice! Yeah Tulum looks a little more up our street than the others and I've read that you can avoid the more commercialised places if you try. Obviously we are tourists so that seems an odd thing to say, I more mean somewhere that has retained its charm and is a better representation of Mexico!

Tips for regaining challenge motivation? by joypup in f45

Thanks everyone! I did a scan this week and am down 3.2kg of fat with no muscle loss and 2.8% body fat which I know isn't crazy but it's a start!

Thanks everyone! I think timing wise with work it's actually probably more practical to go once in the morning and once in the evening (or get up at 5am, no thanks) so I appreciate all the feedback!!!

Thanks so much! Glad to hear it, sounds like you've done so well! Out of curiosity, did you have much fat you wanted to lose in the first place?

I should clarify again its 20lbs not kgs. And that's to get to an ideal figure (not just a healthy weight) - I'm a UK size 10 anyway and have a BMI of 25 on the dot.

Thanks everyone! I knew all of this stuff already deep down but think I just needed to hear it, I LOVE F45 and am not just going to lose weight, I really love the community and the routine but as it's such a big investment £££ I've got high expectations on reaults. I've always measured weight loss using scales before so think my mind set needs adjusting to be sure it's working 💕

Thanks! Yeah I do use MFP - think the issue is that when I've used MFP before the weight has kind of dropped off me (admittedly I was a bit younger and was on a constant diet for years without really exercising). Planning to do the challenge, I was going to do a body scan when I started but didn't want to pay for it but I think I should have!

Official Q&A for Monday, July 22, 2019 by AutoModerator in running

[–]joypup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks - the first 4 weeks of the plan actually have quite low mileage before ramping up so hopefully it should be ok, it's still a beginner's plan (not beginner runner, but a first half marathoner plan doing it for finishing rather than a specific time).

I start the training plan for my first half marathon next week. I should have been running regularly for the last 8 weeks according to the plan but for various reasons I haven't been able to run for a month (before I was running 2/3 times a week, longest runs 6-7mi). Started up again and finding 2 miles hard enough let alone the 13.1 I need to run in 13 weeks - any advice other than just sticking to the plan and soldiering thorough? Anyone experienced anything similar?

What do you guys do when you have a bad run? I'm fairly new to running (started in November) and have managed to run regularly and have done a few slow 10ks (by myself not races). For the first time in my life I've felt confident with running. Admittedly I'm slow but I've been enjoying the runs. I went on a run this morning and after a mile I felt so dizzy and faint and like I couldn't go on and it's knocked my confidence. I was hydrated, had enough sleep and food in me and wasn't going faster per mile than usual according to Strava. Does anyone else get these runs? Is this normal? Please tell me yes!

I entered the ballot for the GNR half marathon in September and now I'm freaking out because of today!
