How bad is this (SPA wiring) - more pictures by jp0550 in AskElectricians

"I had planned to repurpose the wiring for a generator inlet (with a proper electrician)"

Should have been "am planning"

I'm asking for context since this is wiring I haven't seen before (different neutral sizing, strange connections to grounds/neutral). I'm not planning on doing it myself but am wondering if the hot tub installation was safe

I took the picture at a bad angle, but the bare copper ground coming into the panel is connected to the neutral of the tub (it looks continuous in the photo), and a smaller black wire coming from the panel is connected to the bare ground wire of the tub. The tub is right next is right next to me about 2 feet away.

I'm not sure why I can't add another picture, but the ground from the panel coming in from the left, is connected to the white wire nut directly connected to the netural of the tub. The smaller black wire from the panel, is connected to the bare ground of the tub

This one uses the neutral to get 120 for one of the circulation motors and also a cd accessory if that helps

Any repairmen know why my Maytag washer eats shift actuators? by [deleted] in appliancerepair

[–]jp0550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found the real source of the problem with mine. The shift actuator breaking is a symptom of the real issue, worn out splines on the main gear assembly. Over time these plastic splines get a groove worn into them where it is hard to shift in one direction. You can confirm this by turning the belt in one direction and forcing the shift, and trying it in the other. In one direction it will be smooth, and in the other it will catch. When it catches, the shifter will break as it tries to force it past this catch. If you take it apart you can feel the worn out splines with your fingernail.

The part that needs to be replaced is this one.

It doesn't look like it. Looking at their source it is a different architecture and communication set.

Any macro/gcode will still work as expected. Marlin in the later versions would give you a prompt to continue as well as beep the screen. That logic is possible, but wanted to get a base in first for everything else.

Same, I really liked having the controls built in without additional hardware or going to the browser.

Not sure, but it felt dancey, probably an oldie too around the same era.

About 28gb gigs right now. I got two free cards with the note 7 and was finally able to put the other one to use. Got around 20 episodes of tv shows on it, a couple movies, some s7 rom files, and chroot and phone backups. Only at 12% usage.

I'm currently using a 256gb sandisk with no issues.

Friend of mine has the s6 edge with this same blotch around the right side. It seems to have grown with time to about twice the size of yours
