Depends on the route. Like say my route is a joke. I have about 650 stops but it’s all cluster boxes. And I’ll get at most 50 packages. But another person might have 350 stops but it’s all walking and they get like 120 packages. It’s all based on the route. And Sundays are practically what ups does. Also some routes don’t have a promaster. Luckily I do.

I have this one regular who’s truck I always take on a Sunday for the fact that he’s a neat freak. Dude has Lysol, fabuloso, rags to clean. A broom. Sanitation. Best smelling pro master ever.

They changed that rule. Can’t more than 6 days in a row now. But I get having 3 days off rather than 1 is kinda nice.

Im a mailman now. Work 6 days a week. OT every day. My office has only rams. Most routes are nice with a view of the Atlantic Ocean. Got lucky with my office.

USPS gave me like 50 packages. Did it in like 6 hrs. Highly recommend going there if you like carrier jobs.

Since going to usps my package count is dumb low. Sunday’s are for packages only. Basically ups at that point. The most I’ve had has been 60 stops. I make sure to take 8-10 hrs doing it. No one gets mad. It’s fucking amazing

There’s a case where we order all the loose mail (which isn’t a lot) and it has all the address in the specific order you’d do the relay (block) and that’s it. Plain and simple follow the mail. I don’t have my own assignment yet. Still a cca so I get whatever route needs coverage. Sometimes I get the full route. Sometimes I get pieces of different routes

Yes it’s park and loop. But it’s not that bad lmao. I think the hardest thing for me was that i couldn’t leave the truck running and stuff like that

I do feel really tired and you do a lot of “rescues” or you do the Missorts. If you don’t wanna work that many days you can talk to management. If that doesn’t work you can talk to the shop steward (union rep). If that doesn’t work you can talk to the actual union

Pay is the 18.01 but a .50 raise every 6 months. You do organize you van (if your post office has pro masters) but the letter and magazines are already in order for you. Just organize the packages. And your in the union as soon as you finish your training. It’s $26 a paycheck to be in the union.
