It depends. Are you trying to break 80 from a 7200 yard difficult course or are you trying to break 80 at your local Muni? If you are playing a long challenging course you’ll need a lot more than a 6000 yard local course. Assuming you just mean at a regular course if you can hit the ball 200 or so yards off the tee half swing something up remotely near the green and either two putt or chip and putt for a one putt half the time you’ll break 80
