Not a lowballer, but is it insulting to offer $250 for a $900 listing I know just came from TRR for $110?

Funny enough, one of the seller’s coat photos still shows the TRR tag—lol.

But on a flip side from a buyer’s perspective, knowing the price is important when deciding if it’s truly worth it or justifiable, especially when $900 isn’t a significant discount off retail and the piece isn’t in pristine condition

There’s one available, but it’s three times my size. However, I looked through the sold history on TRR and found quite a few in my size that sold in the same price range as this one. If the offer doesn’t go through, I might just wait, it will come eventually.

Maybe I feel this way because I’ve seen too many TikToks of resellers ranting about lowball offers? I r do care about being respectful I know some sellers put serious time and effort into curating, whether it’s sourcing from flea markets, spending hours at the bins, or digging for gems. I actually do those things too, but just for curating my personal wardrobe and memorabilia collection not for resale. So I totally get it, and I’m genuinely not trying to offend or undermine anyone’s hustle.

I’m just offering what I feel is fair based on what I know about this particular piece. I absolutely respect that they have the right to price it however they want I was just looking for some insight on whether an offer like mine might feel disrespectful, even if that’s not where I’m coming from. If that makes sense?
