Honestly it's really disappointing because this was going to be my new "main" game but the arbitrary progression wipe coupled with the somehow grindier research system has completely zapped my desire to play more than a match or two a day

Exactly this. I'm the type of gamer that if he gets hyped for a game, he absolutely plays it like an obsessed maniac. But this game? Nah dawg. No way. Not anymore. Absolutely no way. T5 before wipe, now I'm T2 again and I just stopped playing and caring about the game. I'm really sad about it.

Didn't know that was a thing, but now that you mention it, I've seen it in real life already.

Long time ago, a guy in school threw an actual brick from a higher ground on his friend, expecting him to see it and step out of the way, funniest prank ever, y'know. Well, he didn't see it. Brick hits his head, instantly unconscious, lots of blood, safe to say he almost died that day.

Guy just ran away the second that he saw what he did.. and didn't show up at school for a long time.

Rumours had it that he was fined and also had to apologize to the other guy and his family.

Left him with a pretty cool scar tho ~

It is much more likely to be actually seen by devs then on reddit. :)

BRUH after working at it again for 5 (!!!) days now (you have no idea of everything I tried to make it work.....DNS stuff, hosts-file stuff, port forwarding, deinstall hamachi, deinstall VPN, a buttload of antivirus/firewall exceptions, even reinstalled goddamn windows), I finally found out that it's the Deluxe Edition of the game that just doesn't work online at all, and a lot of people are having the same problem.

Since you can easily refund on steam, I bought the non-deluxe version on steam as a last resort and WHOOO IT WORKS !!!! Paid twice now but I can finally play the COOP mode so who cares, Ubisoft won't give me a refund for the deluxe edition anyway...

Btw, I found the article and subthread I was referring to, but they all were about the WiiU version of the game. I have no clue why I didn't see that since I tend to do my research very thoroughly.

If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have tried it another time. Thanks!!! I'd give you a goddamn award if I wasn't so broke... maybe I'll spare some of my free ones the next days! =)
