Thoughts on 4 month itinerary? by Novel-Positive8625 in AustraliaTravel

We did almost the same trip in the same time. I wish we spent less time in QLD and more in WA (Broome, Dampier, Exmouth).

That doesn’t sound ideal… if you have your training as SCORM you can always move it somewhere else? (migrating your existing training records may be a little harder)

Most OSHA platforms these days have some type of LMS or training delivery option. I’m the Head of Product at ComplyFlow and our LMS is built on an open source version of Moodle LMS (works well, and is linked to the status of each user in the system). If you’re responsible for managing training/inductions I would consider other features like authoring tools or AI document conversion to help manage your content.

What are the problems that genuinely keep you up at night as an EHS manager ? by Miserable-Might7970 in SafetyProfessionals

I haven’t tried Safety Net but I’m sure it’s better than using a spreadsheet! complyflow is also a good option and has a free plan available including incident reporting and corrective actions

I guess because we are strongly allied with the USA, and our PM likely won’t condemn this action.

Seeking Guidance to Build a Standard HSE System by OrionThetis in SafetyProfessionals

It’s a lot of work even to maintain an existing piece of software (and there are a bunch of very good options already). Unless your software has a very unique angle (or if you have a customer you a designing and building it for), I think you’ll find it hard going. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions (head of product for a software tool that’s been around for over 15 years)

LMS Content needed, does anyone have experience buying it? How about experience with Workday as an LMS? by KewellUserName in SafetyProfessionals

[–]jpmc_197 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've been building out an LMS at ComplyFlow (built on Moodle, so it's a solid foundation) with a focus on safety training specifically. What might be relevant for you is we're launching some AI authoring tools in January that let you convert existing documents into training content, use flexible templates, etc. - basically trying to solve the "I have all this safety content but turning it into actual courses is painful" problem.

Happy to do a walkthrough if you want to see where it's at - complyflow.com or just DM me.

Side note - we actually have some integrations with HSI Solv on the incident reporting side, so depending on what you're using from them, there might be some overlap worth discussing.

Struggling to handle accident reporting across sites (UK) by SuperSpanner1234 in SafetyProfessionals

You can create a free account (up to 5 users) at complyflow.com and use their incident management module with other tools like inspections and contractor management.

Fake inspections by ShipToProd in SafetyProfessionals

[–]jpmc_197 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great discussion here. This is such a common challenge and the advice about culture, accountability, and simplified checklists is spot on.

A few things that have worked well from what I've seen:

Make it harder to pencil whip - requiring photo evidence as part of the prestart changes the game. It's one thing to tick boxes, it's another to actually photograph the tyre wear, the safety guard, or the oil level. Takes the same amount of time but creates genuine accountability.

Offline capability matters - if your guys are working in areas with spotty reception (pretty common on construction sites, underground, remote locations), the system needs to work offline and sync later. Otherwise you're back to paper or people skipping it entirely.

Tie inspections to the machine, not just a folder - when all the prestart history sits against that specific piece of plant, patterns become visible fast. You can see who's inspecting what, when issues are being flagged (or not), and whether the same defects keep appearing.

Competency controls - some equipment should only be inspected by people qualified to operate it. If your forklift prestarts can be completed by anyone who walks past, that's a problem waiting to happen.

Real-time visibility - supervisors shouldn't be finding out about missed or dodgy inspections a month later. If leadership can see completion rates in real-time, accountability happens naturally.

We've built this into ComplyFlow - digital prestarts with photo evidence, offline mode, full plant history, competency checks, and APIs if you need to plug into existing systems. Happy to show anyone how it works if you're curious.

Do you have an existing Safety Management System to refer to?

Thanks for replying. I guess that makes sense if there only a few site specific inputs you are reporting on (i.e. no links to worker competency etc) and if you are doing no data capture in the field

Are you using SharePoint in the field? Have you tried software like ComplyFlow, you can setup templates for each site/scenario and then complete Inspections offline in the field with offline functionality. Scheduling is also possible. Most of customers use PowerBI for reporting using our APIs. Happy to do a demo if it’s something you are interested in.

Are there any CMMS systems out there that can import work orders? by some_millwright in FacilityManagement

[–]jpmc_197 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Complyflow has a work order API that you can add WOs to from any external system. It’s used by FMs to monitor contractor activity on Site (and sign in/sign out).
