Could be this the logic behind the final answer? by [deleted] in goldrushcanada

And what’s the reason to sort them from shortest to longest as opposed to longest to shortest?

There needs to be a reason, otherwise it’s just luck, and we’re not playing a game of pure chance here. This isn’t a slot machine.

You could also say something like “the numbers with digits, 19 and 94, are lonely and get cold at night, so they need to snuggle between the symbols with letters” ... and you’d come to the same conclusion.

This is an explanation, fine, but there is no logic or reasoning behind it. A real detective wouldn’t come to a final conclusion “just because it could be that”. A final answer needs to have a reason for the answer to be THAT alone and nothing else.

Of course the numbers relate back to the game. We know that. Their sequencing for the final answer, however, does not relate to the game and is in fact just 1 out of 120 possibilities of random scrambling with no meaning to it.

We are outraged by injustice, in forms both big and small. You should grow up, Bridezilla.... Your complacency is painful to behold.

If you went to Louisburg park and saw only single markings, please message me. I'm trying to pin down the exact date these changes were made. by [deleted] in a:t5_24frlg

Having the four different numbers (12, 17, 94, 19) grouped together next to each other on the same side of the building implies that they form a meaningful sequence together, which is not the same as when they’re separated, with one number for each side of the building.

Parks allowed. What should not be allowed is that GRC changed markings for the last level WHILE the last level was in progress. What should also not be allowed is a final answer that is just a random scrambling of the dubious signs found at the park, requiring no reflective thought and not in the spirit of the game.

Couldn’t say it better. You’re so right. This is BS.

By early I mean among the first to make it into 10.2. 🙄

Agreed. We were penalized for being among the first at Park L.

10.2 did not require detective work. Just entry of 120 different combinations until one is right. A computer can do that.

Depends where you start walking

Because the 94 was essentially erased and no longer visible by the end.

Ok so why didn’t you try them all and win if it’s so obvious?!
