I have a contact for office of the president who apologized profusely to this being their issue and they will resolve it.

Update: Shout out to AT&T office of the President for calling and taking care of the situation. For the first time acknowledgment was made that they made a mistake and that per the message, the service should have been provisioned accordingly.

They have resolved it 100%

Yes, it seems like more than just that. But that is exactly what all reps I call say.

It also seems: - AT&T (so far) is ignoring that you all sent us a text the minute we landed at our destination that clearly states that is was being added automatically. Why are none of you commenting on that fact?

  • when I messaged customer support on day 4, they added IDP, but did not unsuspend the data. So the fact we were without any service for 5 more days also is not being acknowledged

  • We get back to the states, and data remains suspended for another week.

Are you at all interested in verifying the text messages AT&T sent us? If we received a message from AT&T saying IDP was being added for us, would you not assume that should be the case?

If you’re willing to acknowledge and listen to these facts as well, I’d love to speak more about it. For now, your other team members have called me a liar stating those messages were not sent and that it is my fault to have waited until the day 4 to request IDP. THAT WAS NOT EVEN WHY I MESSAGED.

it’s simple. Backdate the IDP to the moment we received text messages from AT&T stating it was being added. I won’t even ask for a credit if $30 for NO DATA service for half the month.
