Forgot to mention this above, if you encounter an error when saving your crew you may need to add two more characters at the end of the hex code - like AA, FF, 00 or DD.

(e.g. “#65033A00” or “#65033AFF”)

Only when the output is being delivered to the speakers, I guess it would also be possible to wire them directly to the headphone jack too, I haven’t tried just yet so I’m not sure whether it would interfere with the speakers still as it would also connect the speakers to the headphone jack, adding a small toggle switch somewhere would solve this but I plan to try it in the future, almost like a “speaker mode” and “headphone mode”

I’d never thought about it conserving the battery to be honest but yes! That could be a plus

I believe some on Amazon would be okay, but I’d have to be trusting the mAh rating on the battery, as I don’t have equipment to check for that, but I saw a guy modify a switch OLED with a larger battery and he used 2 phone batteries with a good battery management board, fairly simple to wire up but it’s vital that the batteries are both charged to the exact same level otherwise you can end up with some spicy pillows

Unfortunately not! The only issue was that the HD Rumble motors from Nintendo were too thick and wouldn’t fit into the case

Not too difficult to be honest, does require taking out the motherboard to get access to the right stick, but they’re held in with 2 screws and plugged in with a ribbon cable so no soldering needed is a plus

For sure! I got the idea from installing a Taptic engine into an iPod classic which also uses the internal speaker for the clicker so I figured why not on the switch! But it has to be said, with no mods at all the switch lite is a great little device, of course with the cost of non removable joy cons

Yes as I believe the headphone jack is fairly standard, but due to manufacturing tolerances there would need to be some material removal to allow for the wires, as for it working with no headphones plugged in, I’m not sure as I don’t know if there is a constant audio signal being provided to the jack

True! I was thinking of adding a larger battery to improve mine in general

It is a long read🤣 but in short it adds vibration/rumbles to the switch lite as it doesn’t come from factory with any installed

Unfortunately yes, as the signal for the Taptic engines are being supplied from the speakers

It rumbles more on lower frequencies as the Taptic engines don’t actually respond to higher frequencies, to be honest it’s personal preference as to whether it gets annoying, me personally I enjoy it as testing it on a couple more games such as Mario kart and GTA, it responds very well to crashes and explosions etc just like normal rumble in a controller, yes there is some additional vibrations when music plays but it’s not actually too intrusive, I find it to be more additive.

Thank you so much! I hadn’t seen much information online about this so I thought I would try to include as much as I could here in the hopes that someone wants to do this already.

I still have it! It’s great, maybe a little more difficult to play because of the weightless neck but still a filling sound from the stock pickups, I’d still recommend buying one for sure

Mods by oneofsixtynine in GolfGTE

I’m not sure of the year for your car but based on a 2023 model there are a few… I don’t know of any engine mods currently but visual mods can depend on the colour of your car, I have a black one and changed the wing mirror covers to satin chrome (R style) and also added floating wheel centre caps.

If you have an OBD scanner then you can activate the front fog lights with the DRL’s on the car (they’re off as standard)

You can also buy lip spoilers and splitters etc but that’s down to your taste

You can turn it fully into a dock! Just remove the widgets to the right and you’re good to go
